I love taking new players into Carcosa. The amount of Flavor and wow factor in this campaign is so good. Sometimes as an experience player you don't read every card or rush through, but then a fresh pair of eyes comes in and reminds you of the magic in this game.

I’m really enjoying Eric’s first play through, it’s fun to watch people experience this campaign. And I agree with them: “This is so cool!”
I'm sure y'all recorded this way in advance, but revealing more than one symbol token doesn't cause you to take more horror on Shrivelling. It just cares about whether or not any symbol was pulled.
Edit: I should also say, these videos are great! I love watching Eric as they see what a great job Carcosa does at pushing the limits of the game.

That was almost as good as could be.
At about 42:00, I believe Occult Invocation killed the Maniac. Two discarded cards deals +2 damage, for a total of 3.
Very smooth run of a tough scenario!
I just wanted to add I really like the way Justin handles a new player. Giving advice when asked, rules clarifications when needed, but mostly letting Eric figure things out. Using Ward of Protection on The Pale Mask Beckons was not a strong play, but it’s best to let these things happen.
Leaving the Lunatics alive should make the rest of the campaign spicier! I look forward to it.

At 47:13, Eric swaps Shrivelling with Shrivelling using Dexter's ability. I thought it had to be a different title?
Yup, new player makes a mistake, it happens and I missed it.
You're both probably done with the playthrough at this point, but fyi, at 42:00, Occult Invocation does +1 damage for each card discarded, so Justin would done 3 damage and killed the Maniac without having to engage him.
One of the few instances where a mistake hindered you rather than helped you 😅
it feels... wrong to place Devine on a bystander with 0 clues. By design, shes meant go prevent you from getting clues! In our play, we always decide to treat bystanders with no clues as if they weren't there when determining where to place/move her. Feels a lot more exciting that way, and it's not a game killer as she is easily disposed of regardless.

The turn you played the first ancient stone, it seems like you took 4 actions. Or am I missing something? Turn playing swordcane was also 4 actions. Move - engage - play swordcane + attack with it - shrivelling attach. That 4th action was an autofail, but still :p. Sorry for nitpicking, but I can't help it
I believe the sword cane at least was a" fast" im not sure though. And ive never used seeker so I couldnt tell you xD
