Birding is a Calling 4K

I contemplate why we go Birding while exploring Hogback Ridge Park in Delaware County, Ohio on July 8, 2024. I'm looking for birds to photograph with my Sony A1 with the Sony 200-600mm lens. And I find plenty of cool bird...and a special little surprise! It's a fun adventure, and I invite you to come along. "C'mon! Let's go Birding!"

When you go out birding, you just never know what you're going to find and see. Even familiar species that you might see all the time might surprise you in some way by doing something you weren't expecting.

Dan, it amazes me how you can identify so many different bird sounds and know them by sight!

@@pattis4759 Thank you, pattis4759. It's a simple matter of repetition over time. When I'm stumped, which does happen, I will use an app in the field. If the app can't ID the bird, then I hit the books when I get home or look online. But, yes, over time you begin to retain information.
