طور الباحثون في #جامعة_خليفة تحت اشراف الدكتور ماجد الخنجي وبالتعاون مع المعهد الكوري المتقدم للعلوم والتكنولوجيا تقنيات لتحسين التواصل بين المركبات والبنية التحتية، وذلك بهدف مواكبة التطور السريع في تقنيات المركبات ذاتية القيادة في السنوات الأخيرة، خاصة وأن التطور في تقنيات المركبات ذاتية القيادة سيتطلب تطوراً كبيرًا ليس فقط داخل المركبات نفسها، ولكن أيضًا في الطرق والبنية التحتية التي تستعملها تلك المركبات.
Advances in autonomous vehicle technologies has been advancing rapidly in recent years. But for autonomous vehicles to really take off, it will require significant advancements not only within the vehicles themselves, but in the roads and infrastructure on which they travel. Researchers at #KhalifaUniversity, led by Dr. Majid Khonji, and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, are developing technologies to improve vehicle-to-infrastructure communication.
