- Ever wondered how to make the audio the same loudness across multiple clips? Have you got some quiet footage and some loud footage and you want to match them up?
To match and synchronize audio levels in premiere pro - first drag and drop the clips into the timeline. Next, select the audio tracks for each clip, and then click on the effects workspace. Go to the essential sound panel and click on dialogue to tag your audio as dialogue. Note: this works equally as well is you are trying to match audio levels for music, sound effects, or ambience.
Now click on the "auto match" feature. This will match the audio across the clips and also make sure that your audio is within 23.000 LUFS / broadcasting standards.

Amazing tutorials thanks again di you ever do any for -24 lkfs to get multiple clips to -24 lkfs?
I haven’t tried that. That’s a good idea though. Let me see if I can make a tutorial for that :$
Lifesaver video
Awesome!, thanx!
Glad you liked it!
If some networks are set to -24 LKFS, would applying -23 in the dialogue still pass the QC for the network?
This SAVED my video!!

How do you changes the LUFs?
I have almost 1TB memory and high performance gaming pc 🤷♂
it says unable to draw path. GDI status
out of memory
gg the audio of another clip went down and the main studio clip audio went so high ... it went the opposite :S but thanks for this tutorial it helped me to find how to do it manually.
what would you choose if you had about 75% music but 25% dialogue?
This is the best tutorial in the history of CZcams and I will swordfight any who say otherwise.

i've tried this a few times, haven't even added sfx or music yet, however, after i select all audio, click dialogue and auto-match, the program changes my selection to only a few clips to change the audio. why doesn't it do all of it like i want it too? i'm using a windows os
thanks in advance :)
Hmm, I'd have to take a look. But it might be detecting something other than audio. Do you want to send me a screenshot? my email is curtis.pyke@Yahoo.ca and I'll take a look. :)
I just did this with 29 clips. Audio was attached to video on all but one, so only one changed the first time. Had to select all clips audio + video, ungroup, then select only the audio clips and it worked exactly as in the video above.
@@PrendosNewZealandLimited Thank you, I'll try that next time
@@curtispyketech thanks for responding, sorry, just noticed this reply now, for some reason yt doesn't always show me if there are any comments, not sure why
@@PrendosNewZealandLimited heck ya! This technique can save you a lot of time. And make life much easier :)))
Audio tutorial on a video with terribly low audio and static noise hissing. Nice.
weird i don't have that option after I left click on dialogue.....not sure why cause i'm running latest update
same here
Found out you have to click on Loudness then the accordion will open
doesnt show me an automatch etc option after I select it. Also noticed that it doesnt let me select JUST audio. It selects the video and audio. So that might be part of it?
