  • In this clip, Michael Ellis describes internal reinforcement and how that affects reactive behavior. Internal reinforcement is also known as self-reinforcing behaviors is caused by the chemicals in your dog's brain that make them feel good. Self-reinforcing behaviors operate very similarly to addiction and the best way to combat them is through prevention and management.
