Great series but I think some of the rules should still be changed
1. The person who wins should obviously choose the other persons player so that you can´t, as Andy mentioned, chose gold Mbappe if the other person wins by one link.
2. I also think if neither of you can link the two players, you should both get a bronze instead of getting the players you initially wanted.
But as I said a very fun series that is very enjoyable to watch, and I think it can be an even better series if you change some of the rules :)

Idea for upcoming ep. Both yourself and opponent have to choose the same position and you have to go with the top 50 players in that position. That way it will be slightly different and more difficult. Great work!👌🏼

I just wanted to share this because I was proud to know it:,) but for the Mertens one you could've also used Ji Sun Park who played with Ronaldo at man U and with Mertens at PSV Eindhoven
Idea for the next one! You should have a few rounds where you have to make more number of jumps instead of less. Maybe can give 1 minute timer for that? Seems like a way to increase ball knowledge haha
I don't know how you could functionally go about doing this but maybe 15 seconds into the timer there could be a team reveal so that you can see the teams each player has been a part of to make it easier?

To avoid the Ndidi situation, maybe an idea could be to reduce the players rating by 10 with each each extra step you used to find the connection! So if you try to add a 95, and connect using two more steps than your opponent, then you'll add a 75 rated player or below of your choosing!

For David Soria you can do Portu (currently at Getafe) to Parejo (played at Valencia together) to any Madrid player since 2009. Parejo left Madrid when Ronaldo joined so I don’t think that works directly
Would a cucurella to Chelsea azpilicueta back to Madrid through courtois work cause cucurella currently, same with azpilicueta, then courtois played with him, and Ronaldo back with courtois in 2018, but that depends on transfer times

Genuinely I said mayoral just before the timer. Know him from old career modes playing for Madrid and for some reason know he plays for gatafe now
Idea for new rule. Both players choose a formation st the start and the other player can guess it like squad builder showdown. If the player guesses your formation, they can either choose what formation you play with or they get something. Some examples could be that they get to search up one of the players clubs so that they can link it easier or that they can choose a position where they keep any player they want even if they lose.
For the ramsdale one they could’ve just said Martin Ødegaard
