First race of the season! After qualifying P1, we ran a reverse-grid start for a 4-lap sprint race. I had to maneuver around some traffic after getting caught up in the back after the start but was able to move my way to the front by the final lap. Unfortunately, I got knocked out on Turn 11, which ended with me getting whacked pretty good. But the whack at least lined me back up, and I was able to finish in 4th. The racer (Jude D) apologized for the inside pass, so I just told the organizers to chalk it up as a racing incident. It's the nature of the game.
Lap times:
01-65.574 (00:48) Starting P13, worked my way up to P9
02-58.621 (01:56) Took advantage of opportunities to end the lap P6
03-58.819 (02:56) Worked my way up to P2
04-61.304 (03:55) Was able to get the inside pass at Turn 7 (04:22) but got knocked around at Turn 11 (04:31) to end up P4
