Thank you for the great model, When I am trying to use SAS Viya to manage new models (such as credit scoring), I am confused about what are the ways to select retraining datasets. For example, when evaluating the performances on the tested dataset (Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4,Q5) by looking at the ROC graph Q2 and Q5 are doing the best, and there are certain variables showing great differences across the quarters which requires retraining our model on other data. I wonder how do we choose the data we should use to retrain then? What are the standards or ways to select the data we use? It will be great If anyone can help me with this question, thank you!
Thanks for reaching out! This type of question is best posted in the SAS Community forum for SAS Viya and SAS Visual Analytics: 2.sas.com/6059OxIDl. As we're unable to engage in a dialogue about how to use SAS Viya or post screenshots or step-by-step instructions here in the CZcams feedback area, this forum is the best place to post these type of usage questions. If you are a licensed SAS Viya customer, then the other avenue for support with questions like this is for you to open a track with SAS Tech Support. Great tutorial. I really love, but I ran into an issue when I copied and ran the code. It gave me an error Stating that Encountered error code 1 when executing Python program and also An error occurred while executing the node. I can seem to figure out what the problem is from the log. Any advice?
Hi Oseh! Can you email us a screenshot of your error messages? Please send it to SAS_Cares@sas.com along with your site number and your log file. Thanks!
At approximately time stamp 7:37, you see the narrator insert pre-written Python Forest code into the model that's being built. We do not teach Python or have many pre-written Python programs to use with SAS Viya or Jupyter Notebook. We assume that the student who is using Python already knows Python code or already has pre-written code for models that they want to incorporate into Model Manager. If you are having issues with deploying your own Python models into SAS Viya Model Manager, then you need to open a track with Tech Support. Unfortunately, we cannot post code or screenshots here in the CZcams feedback area. To open a track with Tech Support, fill out the form at this link: 2.sas.com/6057yNgAZ . If you want to post a question in the SAS Community in regard to using Python andJupyter Notebook, this is the Community Forum that is relevant: 2.sas.com/6058yNgAw , you'll find some previous postings about Python there. In addition, if you do use Jupyter Notebook and SASPy with SAS OnDemand for Academics, this GitHUB site with examples might be of interest to you: 2.sas.com/6059yNgAb . Note that you will need to install Jupyter Notebook and SASPy in order to use Python in this context.
@@SASUsers actually I copied the code to test but I can't seems to understand how to debug. The messages are very general. Hope there are more guides on this.
Great tutorial and demonstrating complex steps in an easy way.
Great to hear you found it helpful!
