Looks like he's pretty hard to position well against with lance but you crushed him nonetheless. Nice effort and thanks for uploading. I'm always really grateful to speed-runners for sharing quality gameplay as it's such a useful resource for improving. I subbed and I'll be coming back to peruse your other uploads for sure.

Great run. What makes you decide whether or not to include wide sweep attacks in your combo?
It's a matter of positioning and if the hitzone of the monster allows it. If it's mostly element, then no.
To many times has lance been underestimated. Nice work my fellow lancer, you've made us all proud.

So Embolden level 1 is enough to Guard Dash most of his attacks.. How much Guard is equivalent to it tho??
Embolden 1 is equal to Guard 1 but since Guard Dash itself has already in-build Guard, it's a very nice combo. I honestly didn't expect Embolden to be good but turns out it is.

It's called Lunging Thrust and you can do that after a Guard Dash or Advanced Guard.
Can you please explain me why and how Bombardier works for lance.
I had open slots and since I use some bombs in the beginning to "wake up" Flaspinas, I thought Bombadier is the best way so I deal a bit more damage with my bombs.

2:14 how do you power guard so fast from turning?
I didn't Power Guard. After Insta-Blocking the charge attack, I did a back hop and Guard Dashed into the fireball with a Leaping Thrust follow. It might looks like it because I don't really move forward. Got blocked by the head.

Can we talk about this talisman : 3 Attack boost, 2WE, 1CB ? Even with the decoration it's 3 AB,1WE,1CB or 3 AB, 2WE ... Is this really possible to have 5* 2 slot decoration on 1 Talisman ?

Probably possible but very very very rare. Unrealistic and all these lazy speedruneers modd it in cause they like playing with un realistic options s. Think of these runs more of a TAS than actually skilled.
There are some speedruneers who aren't lazy and dont resort to nodding but are hars to find.
@@senorduck384 Wait so you are telling me that if I have a God Charm, I don't need to pick up my controller anymore because the game will be played for me? I never knew that. Capcom really improving the qol in Sunbreak. I only have 1300h in that game so I guess I'm lazy too.

Some of these guys also running scripts. It becomes more of a numbers game than actual skill.
TAS is very common in these kinds of environments. The bottom line. If people are willing to cheat or take short cuts in one aspect it speaks of their integrity and character amongst other things.
He may or may not use scripts as well. And I understand hes not recording the dozens of times he failed or has an unsavory score, but I personally rather not entertain myself with something not possible through normal means.
@@senorduck384 I seems you don't understand what a "script" in MH is. It's not something you program and it will happen that way. A Script refers to a chain of events like a KO, a Para, Riding which is not programmed in. They get their strat by running hundreds of times the same monster. I have never ever seen a TAS in Monster Hunter. And why? Because the game is way too RNG. You simply cannot predict a monsters movement, Crit RNG, Material RNG and so on. If you were actually diving into how MH speedrunning works and why modding RNG out of the game is a mere RNG reduction, then you wouldn't be accusing them. How many hours do you have in the game? Can you kill a monster as fast as them? Even if you would have the same equipment? I bet you can not.
A charm like this is possible through normal means. The probability is just out is space. If you complain about that, complain to Capcom and not to the players. As far as I can see it, he always says that the charm is modded and even made a poll with 90% of the people not caring if the charm is modded.
At the end of the day, nobody forces you to watch this but at least inform yourself first before you start attacking people. This has nothing to do with TAS at all. There is no program playing the game for you.

LOL...what with this Attack Boast 3 Weakness exploit 2 with 3-1-1 deco slot it so normal and obvious with all of this speed runner make want to pukey pukey... :))
I never denied it's modded. It's even in the description. If that makes you "pukey pukey", you should have a bucket nearby... :))
@@Vycery player who are cheating in counter strike or any games called cheater not moded..Cheating means you get an advantage in games, mod mean you modified the game codes....i doubt you can modifed the game code...but i believe you use tools to get you advantage in game... your respon just say you refuse to be called cheater and try to run away by calling it moded :))
Cheater in CS also play directly in PVP which is not the case at all in MH. So my advantage is that I can kill a monster faster. Is that unfair and do I make the game worse for people who don't care about times? No. You can't compare an Esports competitive game with prize money that is full on PVP based to a Co-op game like MH that can be played completely offline.
I basically modified the game to give me the legal maxed out charm. I don't know why you think it's not modding if the site "Nexusmods" specifically has it in it's name and everything is listed under "Mods". Of course you modify the game files. After I'm done, I can always load my char from anywhere and still have all my things. I'm not running away and deny everything if I state it in the description in every single run I do but if you feel better about it, you can call me whatever you want.
