  • Ordered some White Knuckle Off Road frame mounted rock sliders for the 2024 Ram Power Wagon (aka Red Beast Wagon). The Go Rhino Dominator D6 rocker panel mounted “slider” steps have definitely taken a few hits from the last two off road adventures. The D6 steps got dented and are much more pliable than the rocker panel mounted 1/4” steel brackets which are very stiff in comparison so at least the rocker panels shouldn’t damage just the thinner weaker steps. Nevertheless, I wanted a more robust slider that can handle the weight of the truck without denting the sliders and allow more confidence in going over rocks and obstacles.

You’re adding all the right parts for sure, and getting to use the truck off road. I would suggest getting a high clearance front bumper (I got the Chassis Unlimited one, and is power wagon specific, and looks sick!). It gives you crazy good approach angle, which the stocker doesn’t have.

Thanks. Definitely a nice bumper. Looks like it weighs 120 lbs. Do you know what the weight of the standard bumper is for comparison? Maybe you can post a video on CZcams of your bumper setup...

What did you like about the white knuckle vs. maple off-road? Thanks!

I looked at lots of videos and reviews on the White Knuckle Off Road rock sliders and they seemed like the most robust sliders out there for my truck model. They are really heavy (150 lbs each slider) but look well engineered and constructed. Should also be able to take a major hit without any issues from the videos I have seen and talking with some other customers that have WKO sliders on different vehicles.
