I was gifted the new nerf grenade from NFStrike for Christmas! This model is timed release versus the impact release of the last model. My mission for this CQB Nerf War Livestream was to get at least one nade kill.

I was showing someone the livestream from last Friday, It was so fun! Cool video!
Our club saves dart heads from decapitated darts to use in these. We also allow airsoft bbs given we play at an indoor airsoft arena anyway and they don't launch the bbs hard enough to really even feel the impact. Though I imagine bbs would be a no go for most clubs/ locations, more so than the sheer number of clubs that don't allow the nades in the first place.

Timed release is very nice. I'm going to spend some time covering this in some foam so I feel a little better about throwing it behind cover more.

What blaster is that at 7:48 ?
That was a blaster that Valken (paintball company) sent me to test out. They basically just took one of their paintball spring shooters and created their own 1/2" diameter foam ball ammo for it to fire.
The concept was nice, but it was pretty awful. The hopper was always in the way, the ammo was super small and impossible to feel at range. It would also fire all over the place.
I used it for a bit and then haven't touched it since.

Unfortunately the non-pyramid timer with the big red and blue buttons was custom designed, built, and programmed by our community member John. It was pretty costly and time intensive to build, but is clearly worth it. I've tried to get him to consider selling it. We'll see if he goes for it.
