I wouldn't worry if there was a line on my grip at all. Hell...I'd wear a clown suit if it helped me hit the ball straighter. 🤣

Right? Put a pink pompom on top of my driver, with a candy cane stripe… I’m not proud, I’m a slicer. Yesterday I sliced one OVER the net at the range, onto the fairway on 2. Foursome whipped their heads around like “wtf, where is that coming from?” Naturally, I nonchalantly retied my shoes and played it off, certainly wasn’t me.

These 5 minute lessons are amazing. Every time I'm out on the course I am incorporating more of your lessons into my game and it has been a life changer. I am in a weekly golf league on a 9 hole course currently first place in team, I'm carrying, and first place in individual. I have been playing just over a year and keeping pace with 10+ year veterans. I can't thank you enough. I am going to try this lesson today. I'm trying to catch up on all of your teachings.

I started gripping my club like this back in August, I thought it might neutralize both hands from being too dominate, I was right, it worked, and I've never hit my irons, better, longer, and straighter. Listening to other people/teachers is good, but there is nothing better than experimenting for yourself, and once something works very well, don't listen to ANYBODY ever again. Do what works for you!!

I'd use the marking on my grip as a guide to align the club face in relation to my palms as I have a neutral hold on the golf club. I have played for over 20years on-and-off having 24hc often hitting the green or fringe in 2 on a par 4 and subsequently fumbling around the green with another 4 strokes to hole it for a double boogie

I don't understand why my amazing athleticism doesn't allow me to do what I want.... my problem is that my big frigging irish head holds me on my back foot.. if I have it tilted away from the target in my backswing .. completely screws up my balance and ability to move forward after my backswing. But when I remember and tilt it towards the target on my take-a-way .. all is good .. until my grip screws up my impact .. so thanks AE .. good video .. just in the ( St. ) nick of time.

Strengthening the grip will often help that. I've even done that with just the bottom hand. That can really help eliminate those terrible hooks. Work on it though, you do want to be acustomed to the feel of a new grip to make it truly effective.
