The "oh god we need to catch up with the piano roll" update. Also the cross mod synth looks cool and project scale setting and mixer in arrangement view are huge.
I'm most excited for the tagging which might sound strange but i often use the same few kits and plugins because i just forget about stuff and dont want to go digging when I'm in the middle of making stuff. Now I'll be able to see my options much easier

Btw theres a trick for freeze n flattening groups: Insert empty miditrack Insert midi clip w. note that lasts the length you wanna freeze n flatten Insert the stock compressor (or any sidechainable effect) on themidi track Enable sidechaining from the group and enable the little blue headphone icon on the compressor. Then freeze and flatten the miditrack (ps. make sure to have the threshold of your comp at 0 db)

how has the performance been? i noticed in 11 i experienced more cpu issues than 10 and seemed generally less stable and i've had more crashes than ever
I wander if there is a way of transposing through the intervals of a given scale live on the fly? So go from the II to the IV to the I for eg. on ALL instruments simultaneously
Anyone know why Ableton live 12 doesn't show the VST folders anymore? Its all VSTS now and no folders...so now I don't know what is what cause everything was organize by folder names!
Ok all those midi roll updates but does anyone know if there will be / currently is a way to have a cut tool for midi notes to slice them all on one line like in FL?
Not exactly…. i made this device to pick any sample without limit (racks and sampler max at 128) and the best part is, you just drop one sample from the folder that you want to randomize ! Plus, doing it in racks and samplers is feels a little bit clunky for that purpose. For efficient use of random sampler/simpler racks, check out my sampler video from a couple months ago!

Hey, i understand it might be hard for you to not get everything you want. It’s worth considering that ableton probably would give all of the features if they could! Stuff like that isn’t always a reality because stuff of budget, time, instability, copyright, and just anything unexpected that might prevent them delivering you a quality product. There’s no one saying you have to buy this version, you can easily wait until they add your requests. I personally am in love with this update and am glad some of my most requested features were able to make it to this one :) HAGD

it depends on your zoom size in ableton settings, if it’s a large zoom
