Great collection. This is one of the most wearable from CdG Homme Plus in a long while. I want so many pieces.
Mid 80's and 90's are definitely back
One the most intriguing collections shown. How to take the most perfect garment, the tailored jacket, and respectfully turn it on it's head. The upside down pants shorts...brilliant! And speaking of shorts, these were the best proportioned. The jungle prints... wild!!! Those were but runway shoes, but boy, hilariously right!
Will you wear a wig-hat, an inside-out jacket? I doubt.

I love a designer who says “here are some mid 2000s mesh shirts, a jacket that looks like curtains, and double shoes. Oh, and wear a shark in your hair”. No one does it quite like Mama Rei.
I am OBSESSED with the double shoes. I love them!
I like how the green tropical print is channeling JLo's break the internet dress! So much wit and humour.
I like the construction (and deconstruction) on some of his clothes. I wish I could afford them.

Inarguably the best fashion-forward collection of menswear SS24! So many new ideas for the passionate fashionistas. And for the rest of man-kind, these ideas were not supposed to be taken in totality as presented in the fashion show. Obviously some elements used were for visual presentation only. When the merchandise hits the retail floor, gone will be the "wigs, shoes and weave attached to the clothes (that) are just ☹" - as decried by a commenter here. If one wants to wear CDG's SS24, one is not expected to walk out of the store looking like one of the models here. LOL I myself would probably just pick up some items - only during a sale and never while they're regular-priced - that I can work with the diverse pieces in my wardrobe.

The looks are cheap, extreme, forgettable. I a all for a good avant guarde presentation (for brand identity and as a marketing tool), however, there are so many elements of this collection that just look plain sub-par. Please pair the shoes with minimal garments. My feeling is that the shoes will do well. They are original, look well-made, and are progressive. There is a young market for those shoes.
