This is so true! This morning I went to my local birding hot spot before work but it was too windy. No birds anywhere. At lunch I decided to try the shore where I knew it was going to be windy as well and I found two sandpipers in the rocks taking shelter that just calmly watched me as I took their photo. And then because the waves were up, there were two surfers in wetsuits not to far off! Another perfect use for my birding lens! You just need to get out because like me today, you never know what's going to be out there!
Perfect !! I imagine the photos of surfers turned out excellent. In this moment we have a heavy snow in central Germany, I hope tomorrow will be a moment to go out and get some amazing landscape photos, or birds in snow 😃
Very nice! I know it is best for my health to go out, but I wouldn't go much if it wasn't with my camera. When I had a dog, I walked with that, now I just walk with the camera 😊
Hi Kim !!! I try to go out every Day, in the Morning or in the Evening, it is a way to keep my mind clear 😆, my camera are always with me, specially when I went to the Big cities, i love street photography to.
I'm learning movies with Mario. Thanks to him, I have made great progress in learning. I take photos more and more boldly and more often. For me it's a great hobby now. I hope Mario doesn't run out of topics for such great films. Greetings to everyone.

Well... i've a lot to do today because tomorrow i go away for three weeks work. However, i've watched this video and decided that i will take one hour for a walk under these grey, drizzly skies. I always carry a camera, and i'm constantly thinking about photography and what i can do to improve, but underneath all of that i believe that the thing that is more important to me than The Image is what 'being in the world and looking at the world as a photographer' teaches me about the world. Always looking... always looking... it is amazing what you come to see. Thanks for the video, Mario, and have a great week.
Hi Luzr, you go "away" to work? like a Airliner Pilot? I wish you the best !! At the moment we have a White sky and surface !!! I´m up to my neck in snow!! tomorrow I have no chance to drive to work..students will be happy !!😆 but comming back to Photography, once upon in the time, a very famous female Photographer set that a camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera, and my Grandfather in WW2 always told me that If he hadn't brought his camera, no one would believe him. Hi Mario, I have been thinking about what you are saying for a while. To me yes you can get a good photo with any kit but it is getting the type of photo you want for the type of photography style you want to shoot that might require other gear. It has now been two and a half years since I took up photography, it became pretty much exclusively birds, and now as I try to make full use of my camera and lens I have realized there are ups and downs in the learning curve to achieve what you. And you will only improve by taking more pictures and watching you on CZcams for inspiration. 😊
Hello Tony, good morning!!, yes without a doubt what you say is true. I try to avoid extremes, nowadays they try to convince you that you can only achieve your goal by "consuming" the latest and most expensive equipment. And I try to explain that the objective is also achieved independently of the gear, which is something that depends more on you. Obviously, a photograph of the Milky Way will be perfect with a fast lens, but there are also those who have achieved wonderful photos with kit lenses. At the end, it is the restrictions that make the difference, the restrictions are what will differentiate you, and you have to learn to use them to your advantage. Tony have a nice week !!
