Surah Waqiah, the 56th chapter of the Holy Quran was revealed in Makkah and deals with the Afterlife (akhirah). Picking up from the preceding chapter, Surah Rahman سورة الرحمن, which discusses the rewards of Paradise (jannah), this chapter also mentions them and then contrasts them with the punishment of hell. The chapter also distinguish the three classes of people in the afterlife, "the foremost", "the companions of the right" and "the companions of the left". According to chapter, the first two groups will enter paradise while the companions of the left will go to hell. Here, "the right" is associated with goodness, the righteous will be seated to the right of God's throne and receive their records of deeds in their right hand.

The 1st time i niat that i want to memorise this surah, i began just by reading the translation of the whole verse. Nothing more than just tears knowing the meaning of it all. Therefore i niat and told my hubby that i want to memorise it in latest maximum of 4 months, asking for his blessings and dua for me, Alhamdulillah manage to do it in less than 3 months! Masya Allah this had become my best friend anytime i want to read while doing housework on in the car long drive, i will just recite it exactly with the tajweed. Last week i was about to went through MRI scan being a clusterphopia i know i cant accept that tunnel. But i just close my eyes with eyepad, and read this surah beautifully calmly on my heart, without realising tears roll down, and by then i am done with than scan. Felt so much relief with no anxiety whatsoever. Last note this surah has been my reasons of my rezki too masya allah tabarakkallah waminkum. Insya Allah Allahuma Ameen
