Actually Archana Puran Singh said in Kapil Sharma show once that during the filming of these rape scenes the villains are actually so polite and gentle with the heroine. Because if they get a little aggressive during the take it can actually hurt or bruise her. Considering that they are naturally stronger. So it’s actually nice to see what she meant

Yah main bhi yahi kehne wali thi ki there were no luxury cars , that was only luxury , by seeing nowadays cars i used to think that there were luxurious cars in earlier times , then i think may be todays normal cars used to be luxurious for celbrities nd all rich people, i dont know exactly but i was assuming this, but see someone has commented nd what i felt, they said that only. When i was small child i sees mostly simple cars , i never see such ferraris nd big cars, an now i am seeing many kind of cars nd that we disn't even now cars names, then i think y this big cars were not there when i was child, i toh see only normal cars that time , nd after that by listening big cars name BMW, SWITZ nd all i thought ye toh tab nahi thi, phir maine socha ye nai nai car aur unka naam toh abhi aai hai, pehle tob luxury car yahi hai , ki kya ye mera vehem hai ki pehle bhi ye cars thi ki maine dekha nai aur ya phir ye bhi ho sakt hai ki hoga lekin koi naya model hoga , mujhe lagaa ki shayad mujhe pata nai hai , mujhe aisa doubt pr aaj mer doubt sach mein badal gay hai ki sach me pehle luxury car sirf simple car hi hoti thi sirf ye mujhe doubt to tha bhi aur ye sach bhi hai , aur abhi jab kisine comment kiya hai toh ye waaqai sach ho gay

I think in hindsight, maybe Amitabh Bachchan was no longer looking good as a hero, as it flopped anyway. So probably it doesn't matter that the story was given away lol.

Most films are generally shot a year before they get released. But some films of amitabh like khudagawa, hum, akeyla etc were all shot in 1989 but got released in 1991 and 1992.Same with don the shooting started in 1974 but got released in 1978.

It seems the basic story line of 'Lal Baadshah' was good, and the script had some interesting characters as well. But the director could not create a winning final product, as either there were too many parallel themes running, or too many characters in the script. Another film which suffered from the same issue was Manmohan Desai's 'Desh Premee', which had too many parallel themes and characters. Hema Malini, who was the heroine of the movie, herself said that both 'Naseeb' (1981) and 'Desh Premee' (1982) looked very good on paper, but the final product was not as attractive, may be because of same reasons. Nevertheless, 'Lal Baadshah' is enjoyable because of one man, whose name is AMITABH BACHCHAN.
