I'm 64yo.,the youngest of 4,grew up on a Dairy Farm in Northern Wisconsin & when MY Dad(Born on Farm/3yrs. NAVY WWII bought the Farm)& I were doing Farm Chores my Dad use to sing "Walking the Floor over You Often.

Did anyone notice that he didn't have to kiss the microphone to be heard. Neither did Ray Price. Take a look at today's 'singers' they all kiss it. Ernest Tubb had class!

Ernest Tubb was such an disciplined singer. He always dressed so well even on Hee Haw when everyone wore coveralls. I've watched other vids where he always wore a suit. Compare the current wannabee era of new country singers.
