We're comparing the prices of the current products being sold at Ollie's with competing stores that have sold these products either currently, or in the past! Some of these deals are just too much to pass up.
My hope by taking you to my local discount store is you get a better currently available and what's worth buying. Shopping on a budget isn't always easy but it's possible. You can find good items for cheap just by taking the time to compare prices to stores like Amazon, Walmart, and even Target! We all want to save money, and these videos are made in hopes to show you can find great products at a deep discount when you start going into these discount stores.

Egyptian and Turkish cotton sheets with a 600 thread count and up.
Higher thread count is softer , they are weaved tighter which makes them very efficient at cooling and long lasting product. They are worth the investment.
oh yes, ollie's is like a treasure hunt. i totally agree. lol; so much fun.
Ollie's also sells a wire holder for a couple of bucks for the bars of suet that you bought for the birds. They're meant to be put in the wire holder and then hung on a tree branch or similar, where the birds will gratefully enjoy it. You have to allow the birds a couple of weeks to find it btw.
I need a couple of those bug zappers, so they can buzz up the mosquitos

I have always been very warm natured and I sweat at night if I don't have the right sheets. I will only buy cotton sheets. I even love old sheets if you can find a good set at the thrift store that are 100% cotton and nice and crisp and soft. Microfiber is a big No-No, knit sheets are a big no, and flannel sheets even if they're a hundred percent cotton are strictly cold cold weather sheets. I also don't buy any sheets that have polyester. I did buy a set of sheets at Ollies last year that were made of tencel. That is a natural fiber like rayon. Those are a big yes! I am a sheet snob đ
I have the Martha Stewart Dutch oven in mustard color....used it once...no chipping sway...great...love itâ€

I go to Ollie's every weekend with my daughter , she loves their books section so do I also their beddings and bathroom rugs pillows also beauty and care items , they have great baking dishes and pans for great prices also staples greeting cards and thoughful gifts .

You got suet cakes for the birds. You will need a wire holder and a place to hang them. I have several of them out.
I wish they had yarn like some ollies have!!!
So for good sheets you need to buy sheets that are cotton these are breathable unlike polyester, you can get a mixed blend which is polyester abs cotton but the three as count is very important. You want to get a thread count out of 600-1000 for a good sheet set.

I have found 100% Egyptian cotton with a high thread count to be the coolest. Tried polyester and hated it! Good luck - I'm a hot sleeper, too.

Ollieâs is good, but you have to look up the prices just to make sure. When it comes to appliances/cookware you really canât beat it. Same with shampoo and other things. There are good deals, but they sneak things in there. There are a lot of what I call bait items to get people to buy more things.
SarahâŠ..is it a âbest byâ date or an actual expiration date. Best by is a date that you can safely bypass. Expiration dates, I throw them out past that date. They usually pertain to meats, cheeses, yogurt, veggies, etc. Dry goods like pasta, cookies, cake mixes, are usually a best by date, which means that the quality of the product may not be as good as as it might have been a few months before,but thereâs nothing really wrong with it. Iâve purchased milk with a date that I have three weeks left on, that I had to throw out two days after I bought it. Iâve had Kinder bars that expired 3 months prior that I threw in my back pack to have something on the plane. No problem. I have Kraft Mac n Cheese in the cabinet that expired a week ago, but because itâs dry, Iâm not throwing it out. Go by the saying âif in doubt, throw it outâ
Oh Lord I eat granola bars and crackers and chips months past the expiration date and theyâre still perfectly fine. We have grocery outlet here in California it seems to be the same as Ollies. I even eat expired cheese still perfectly fine. I save a lot of money by shopping there

Cotton sheets are the usual go to. Higher thread count is better (400-1000). Less they wear more quickly, and over 1000 doesnât mean better. When buying any kitchen wareâŠopen the box and check what youâre getting. I found out the hard way that they do returns. I bought a really nice crockpotâŠsomeone bought it beforeâŠcooked in it..then returned it dirty. The suet feeders go in a wire basket..but you can improvise with a piece of chicken wire and nail it to a tree or post. They go crazy for it in the wintertime! đ đđđBuzzzzzzđđđ
Egyptian cotton is awesome higher count like 1000 can be expensive but they get softer with each wash and they breathe so well! Itâs worth the initial cost becomes they will last years washing once a week!
Be careful eating everything before the end of May. Don't get a buzz đ

The BEST SHEETS that are lightweight, breathable and as soft as they get are made out of Egyptian Cotton. It is a luxurious cotton that can definitely be expensive but sometimes if you're lucky you can find them at discount stores like OLLIES or if your state has a JOB LOT (do not let the name fool you lol it's just a weird name for a store) You definitely want to stay far away from flannel sheets which is probably THE worst for your situation, it will make you sweat more. You probably already know about these things already but I figured I'd lyk just incase you weren't aware. I hope you find what you're looking for sweetie!đâšđâšđâšđâš

I scored 100% linen sheets at a salvage store near me this past weekend. I've been sick so haven't washed them yet but I've been told linen sheets are wonderful to sleep on in warmer months.

I always just buy whatever shampoo and conditioner is on the best sale. If nothing is price, I like. It seems I always go straight to aussie also cause you get there big 26.2 oz bottles for $6. I think it is now. I never like to pay over $4. For 12oz.
That bird food is suet which is beef fat you need a special feeder for that

I also need a bug zapper. I have big hair and they like to fly in it while I grill or chill. Citronella incense sticks at dollar tree are a good back up to have. We can't have them all year due to burn bans. But the bugs definitely need to BUZZ off.
You're gonna want a suet feeder for your bird seed cakes, or a seed feeder with the suet baskets on the side. Best natural bug repellent ever, And they're super entertaining to watch â€

I'm so glad you went to this store. I have 3 different Ollie's close to me and I've never been in one. I've watched a few other CZcams channels do hauls from there and I personally think Ollie's reminds me of a Big Lots and can be a hit or miss. I've heard from friends and family that Ollie's is either a lot of junk or mostly overpriced. I think you got some good deals though.
