A mat inside the square frames would help make the frames feel more substantial and help focus emphasis on the artwork but that’s just me and they look beautiful just the way you styled them ❤

I definitely would have thrifted the lighthouse picture! That is Cape Neddick Lighthouse, also known as Nubble Light, in Maine. I visited there many times when I was a child and I love that lighthouse!

I would definitely thrift the seaside oil painting! The square frames are perfect for DIY. I liked the bowl and pot but unless I could envision the perfect spot to use them in my home, i would probably pass. Running out of storage for all my thrifted goodies. 😂

Omg I would totally keep the frames as it. Please don’t ruined them. I would keep all year long. I love moody style n my home. But they would also be great for fall. I don’t do Halloween.

For the small floral frame, it is cute, but would have passed as not suited for my decor. The bowl a definite pass for me. The seaside painting a definite thrift, love it! The other two frames , I am unsure, I love the frames, but not the pictures, but like them with the pictures you chose. The last item, the handled pot, would have been a pass.

Frame is $4.00 for very small picture, I would have passed. Pass on the $10 bowl. Thrift the oil picture.Thrift on gold frames. Brown bowl I would have passed but if you really love it you should get it.

I have no place to store anything so I don’t buy pictures too much.
I’m gonna offer you some constructive criticism, so you can take it or leave it. The size of the “two pears” is way out of scale to the still life next to it. I’d try again choosing your favorite of the two and making sure the scale of the set of prints you end up placing next to each other to act as a set is complimentary. In a gallery wall set up with several framed pieces it’s acceptable and expected to mix scales, but not so much when it comes to the art in a set of two symmetrically placed matching frames.

Well…as long as you’re happy with the look. The pears just give the impression of being watermelon sized fruit, but I guess there’s nothing wrong with that 😉
