Parker was a proper challenge, AJ was really on point today, great boxing and game plan by him, uses hes size well and gages distance very smartly, actual boxing fans found this fight interesting, Parker would definately trouble the likes of Wilder who have little to no boxing technique with hes movement and agressiveness. The clowns or Wilder fans can talk rubbish all they want this guy is the real deal 💯

Teni Guh If you a regular then you know all fights are different with different opponents, he had a game plan and he got the W, barely lost a round, so its job well done. He had a 100% KO ratio before that so obviously he doing something right and better than others in the division, as oh he has 4 straps. Parker was fighting on the backfoot the whole fight so there is only so much he could do and he done it, he still landed some good shots. No point blaming AJ if you didnt like the fight, people are just too bitchy now a days tbh. Like every fight they watch is some instant classic or something. It was still a good fight to watch for me cause it was technical showed AJ a true champ, he can box smart and has power to knock people out.

Parker had good defense but not enough offense. Too careful. Joshua won with his jab and that's all he needed. Boring fight overall but a good win for Aj & a learning curb for Parker.
AJ showed he can tighten up his defence and is more difficult to hit something his sparring partners also commented on during this camp along with being sharper/quicker all around, was a pretty good performance from a technical boxing prospective. But the casual fans would be disappointed

Before the fight thought would be 6-8 rounds but after first couple rounds could see it was going to go on longer.

I was thinking straight after the fight in the ring when they gave aj and jp quick questions that I notice there was hardly any bruising or scratches on either fighter, even in this post interview there's no bruising. Hopefully they can get a rematch down the line and make it a bigger fights for the fans.
This was a good experience for Joshua on the long run.

Shades of Lewis in AJ's performance last night. Spot on game plan, stuck to it and got the job done. Not all about blasting people out, sometimes you need to box smart.

The ref was trigger happy but AJ was also initiating much of the clinches to stop Parker from getting anything off to force the ref to break them up similar to Klitschko, it was a clear win though AJ dominated controlling the ring, with the jab and landing the bigger shots as well as taking less shots using his defence and distance management, Parker arguably got 5 and 6 but the rest were all AJ I mean the widest scorecard was by the New Zealand judge come on now..

I agree very Klitschko esque performance. Can’t knock everyone out every time. Wasn’t hugely explosive and exciting but good to see him display some good ring craft and technical nous against a savy dangerous opponent. Was a bit of a shame with the ref though, but hindered both fighters not just the loser

But one thing you won’t understand if you haven’t boxed is that, you don’t always know how you cut your opponent. He won’t have felt Parker’s head much on his elbow, but he had hit him in that same place just prior to the cut opening. So when he says he bust his eye, I’m sure he really does believe he punched it. Why else say it? He knows there’s replays to show what happened he wouldn’t mug himself off. Until he sees it he will think that was from a punch. So maybe think before just slating fighters who’ve not had a chance to watch back yet

This was a good technical performance by Joshua...Joshua yet again has shown us anther side of his game...He is becoming a more complete boxer and not just a one trick pony...What has he shown us so far...He can KO...He can get up from the canvas and win...He can fight any size and style of boxer and win...He can do 12 rounds with ease...He can now work almost exclusively behind the jab and win...Like he said himself, he is becoming a true student of the game...He is learning the art of boxing...Hit and not be Hit...He is now going for longevity in the sport rather than a burn out and this should worry his opponents more than a gung ho rabid KO merchant, who will burn out quickly...

Not a fair fight, parkers only chance of winning was on the inside, the ref wouldn't allow it kept breaking them up when thay was still swinging blows plus the tape on Joshuas glove kept coming off, not the first fight this has happened In, Joshua just strolled to his corner to fix it without the refs concent. Parker defenatly got robbed in this fight but the sad thing is Joshua had a good chance of beating Parker without the Roberry he looked good in there alot faster, leaner improved on his boxing skills. What a shame I feel it for Parker but hat's off to Joshua wether it was set up or not he got the win and that's all that counts in this cruel sport.
Parker s only chance of getting KOd was on the inside.... AJ s more tough and powerfull on the inside plus he could land his signature punch which is the uppercut. He tried sometimes but ref got between them and saved Parker from getting really hurt.

I can see why people found the fight boring, but Joshua came forward all fight landing the jab and looking for the opening, Parker had a tight defence and was countering wherever he could. Ref was shite but it was to neither boxers advantage! Fact is, Joshua got the job done and comfortably won Parkers belt, he’s taking over.
For the Wilder fanboys: In 21 fights Joshua has fought 3 world champions and has 4 belts, in 40 fights Wilder has fought 1 world champion and has 1 belt...and he’s avoiding his number 1 ranked mandatory in Dillian Whyte because he knows he’ll lose the belt and the payday. Sorry.
