With the armor buffs to some abilities coming this month, a Terrify-helminthed Volt will actually be able to DPS kill enemies who have armor, so he will actually do more than 5 damage to level 60 enemies lol. I can't wait.
I've been using Hildryn's Pillage ability on my Volt for a while now. Scales with area and strength, is a redundant source of shields on top of Capacitance, and strips a significant amount of armor and shields (even if it's not as high as others). Plus it's a circle with you at the center, rather than an invisible area centered around where you happen to be targeting when you cast terrify (unless I'm forgetting or misunderstanding how terrify targets).
@@Fyrefrye It's also line if sight, unlike terrify. Though terrify has an enemy count pre cast limit to balance that out, but it should be better on a volt than pillage at least after the changes to how the ability scales as he can get shields for himself and the team with his capacitance augment.
While not really a nuke, I find xaku very fun to use in ESO and also easier to use since the vast untime isn't required to be spammed and it'll leave all your stolen guns to do most of the work with the consistent armour/shield strip of gaze. Very underrated ESO frame. I like running pillage on them for shield gating and some slight defense stripping if needed.
thats not how nukes work my guy. if you pay vary close attention a nuke frame simply requires one ability that can cover the map without LoS and do big damage. and again with DE nerfing AoE on weapons its only a matter of time before the punish lazy nuke build frames all the same. just look at the Monkey.
I use brief respirlte for shield gating on xaku and its pretty great. Running an ensnare combo. You can use ensnare on a gazed target for some amazing CC
Worth noting for Saryn that AoE weapons will also burst and spread the spores... I've gotten spore strength in the thousands on ESO just paring it with weapons like Ignis Wraith.
Not sure how the mechanics work but I have a clanmate who's nigh indestructible (revived this guy maybe 3x in 6 months) who almost exclusively plays either ember or saryn paired with an ignis wraith, nukor and orthos. Guy hit mr30 a couple months ago. Every once in a while I almost tie him for damage on my protea build going buckwild just to keep up.
Volt....the Jack of all trades. You can subsume his first ability with Thermal sunder for more weapon damage, OR you can subsume Ensnare with high range+Capacitance+Unairu armor strip for some disgusting damage with abilities in a targeted area. He truly is one of the very best and that since day one.
@@mwilliamson7533 I'm pretty new and just spamming 1 works well for me lol but u have to kina aim it but that's hard to do when I'm at 20 fps never the less it his 90 percent of the time
Equinox's 4 has been very good to me so far. Fun fact: I found Energy Transfer to be more usable the other way around: Activate it in day form, everything in the aura is stunned momentarily when they enter it, giving you more time to deal with enemies while taking less damage, and when you're running low on health, just metamorph and recast 4 to instantly gain back health, cast 4 again, switch to day, keep on fighting with everything around you stunned. Doesn't exactly work for nuking, but I found that it really improves my survivability.
IMO equinox it's one of the best nukers in the game, for low content you can run thermal sunder and combine with 4 (day form) to make a double nuke, and in high content (SP) you can easily nuke an entire zone with 4 (day form), not to mention that the shield gate mechanic from the 4 (night form) and the stunning from 4 (day night) provides you and your team and awesome survivability, combine with the 3 and the augment and you have an unkillable warframe
Correction on nuke volt. Rang basically is strength for his 4 considering how it does dmg. I recommend at least 280% rang, you can go down to like 80% strength and still absolutely murder hoards. The more enemy’s electrocuting each other, the more dmg you will do. More enemy’s hitting more enemy’s is better than a few enemy’s really hurting a few enemy’s. Sadly your 2 is less memy -someone who plays way to much volt.
One thing you forgot to mention with equinox if there's two of them they can nuke off each other build up damage one nukes while the other stores more damage and vice verser
I still find Ember one of the most fun frames to this day. Her current powers aren't as perma-nuke as her old World-on-Fire-CC knockdown powers but it does more damage and she's a lot more survivable.
On Saryn just swap the Molt ability (second ability) with Pillage (hildryn ability) and then swap the Aura from brief respite to Corrosive projection and then rejoice in a really strong warframe with a now improved sustain ability.
There’s some frames that will always be the best because their damage scales up like Saryn and Octavia. But then we have frames that have so much potential that just fall short when the enemies reach a certain level because their damage doesn’t scale. Good example is Mirage. Throw on her Explosive Legerdemain and max her strength and Range. She’s a god. Until you take her to steel path and her bombs do about as much damage as a wet fart. Ember is sort of in the same boat although heat does wonders for armor stripping she isn’t gonna be doing juicy damage like Saryn. Frames like Ember, Mirage, and even Nidus reach a point where they ain’t doing acceptable damage
I watched this video for the sole reason to see if you mentioned Equinox. It is surprising how many players don't know she can nuke. But the most important thing people rarely learn about her and is unfortunate that you didn't mention... 2 Equinoxes can perpetually trade damage back and forth. I use to dual run Equinoxes in ESO with a friend of mine years ago and no Volt or Saryn ever came close to killing as many enemies as we did... they couldn't because as one Equinox would release and clear the map, the other Equinox captured. As soon as the first Equinox recast and enemies spawned again, the second Equinox would release and clear the map while the first once again captured and then the process repeated. We would nuke the map so effectively that the Volts and Saryns could hardly get kills because we were clearing the map so fast. Nothing and I mean NOTHING nukes like 2 Equinoxes trading damage.
My guy, I just got into equinox (550ish hrs, 65% protea, aside from gauss no frames come close to holding my attention like equinox) and you have given me an absolutely disgusting idea I can't wait to bring up with clanmates.
@@craigperry6713 Happy to help. It works best if both players are using mics in order to coordinate better. And it does help to have another non-Equinox nuke in the group in order to generate large amounts of damage so the Equinoxes can capture it. She very much is dependent on other nukes if you want to clear fast... without other nukes around, she would need to generate damage with her weapons which is inefficient. Since she is channeling to nuke, a R5 Energize helps immensely with energy... things like Energy Restores or an EV Trinity won't help. The most important stat is Range and it should be maxed... that is mandatory. Efficiency and Duration is next important... only get them high enough to reach the lowest energy drain for channeling her 4.
She was briefly my main frame. The build options and pure utility are phenomenal. If only the power storage mod was an exilus slot tho. It’s strong, but not 55% duration, 44% power strength, 45% range or 30% efficiency kind of strong. As you still need to bank up that damage to use the AoE
Mirage was my 2nd nuke frame, and the one I've done the most work with/on over time. I am very surprised you didn't mention another downside to the build (even though I could see in the video it was accounted for) which is that you lose AMMO pickups too and need to use re-charge guns or kitguns with the Pax Charge arcane in order to not have downtime on your guns. I also have found that the best way to keep my energy full on most of my nukes is a heavy attack modded zaw with exodia brave. Combined with a recharge gun you are no longer dependent on drops at all. Furthermore, I find it hilarious that Mirage is the only nuke I'm aware of that receives a damage buff from Nekros or other loot-drop-boosters. For nukes that are ridiculously energy hungry, adding Protea's dispensary helminth ability is a very useful final source of energy. Especially on builds that stack (or at least don't kill) their duration along with strength. Edit: You do eventually mention dispensary with Equinox. So that's great! :)
@@jocsanmenjivar ok. The auto filter ate my first reply. If you know the overframe warframe builds site, you can find my build under the build name "Mirage ESO Esplosive Legerdemain" Once you find it, you can also look at the rest of my builds including the Sepfahn heavy attack build that I use.
My personnel favorite nuke frame is a deceptive one that not many players are aware of: Hildryn. Blazing Pillage can deal large aoe heat damage and simultaneously recharge her shield which mean she can afford low ability efficiency without any much problem. Adding Elemental Ward's shield mode as a Helminth ability to push the damage to another level can shred even steelpath enemies. And you'll have a frame who can press one button to deal massive heat and electricity aoe damage, stun enemies, reduce their armor, restore lots of shield, and doesn't worry about energy.
I can add one non obvious nuke. Protea. Maximum range, high duration and strenght. And her slash granades destroy everything. You just throw this 3 times in 3 direction to cover most of room and voila. You dont even need lot of survivability becose normaln enemies(non eximus) are staggered by constant slashes.
I often play ESO and would stare in wonder as people would nuke the entire map. Thanks to this guide I got to live out my power fantasy and actually BE the guy nuking the map. Thank you Kengineer.
No joke, I subbed to him after just like, 2 vids. His voice and delivery is nice and calm, and the information seems pretty damn on point too. So it's actually usable.
Quick reminder that Alecaframe is powered by Overwolf and has no affiliation, support, or endorsement from Warframe or Digital extremes. And while it is not currently against TOS, if they change their TOS it could get your account permanently banned.
I've used addons like this for multiple MMOs. So have tons of other players. If they do that it will alienate a large portion of players. As long as it is just a way to track items or change your UI it should be fine.
That mirage nuke build is actually better with duration and swap your 4 out with dispensary. I have decent strength, high range, decent duration on mine and im using archon stretch and archon continuity to add corrosive and some energy regen to my build
Thekengineer, I'm a Saryn main and I think that putting Blind Rage on her build is the worst thing you can do, although it's very common to see With blind rage you need to spend a slot to put a efficiency mod and without it you dont even need to put flow on the build, a maxed energize will do the job almost alone, With those free slots you can make her a lot tankier with adaptation or umbral vitality/fiber. If you drop another mod, you could possibly puy all of these tankiness mods, making her even capable of taking steel path with considerable ease. That all boils down to the choice of spending slots to revert the energy drain that Blind Rage gave you, wich you even said in the video that she doesnt need that much strength
Usually, the higher the level, the more strength you want, so the stacks grow quicker, but if you can put so much strength that you nuke by just pressing 4, then go for it, problem is that it just works for lower level missions, and then you should go back to a lesser strength to keep the spores going.
Instead of that Blind Rage, just use the Umbral Intensify, wich combos well with the other 2 umbral that I said and also free's the slots from Primed Flow and Streamline, Rolling Guard will prove to be useless, the only problem is that when you take damage to health, you dont restore it, but you can also use operator arcanes or, if you dont have it, Regenerative Molt.
with the new armor stripping mechanics, ember no longer needs to wait till her temp meter gets to full before casting fire blast, for a couple of fire blasts at minimum will do the job now
small tweek to mirage ledgerman build. replace flow with P continuity, power drift with cunning drift, and swap out energize for steadfast. i subsumed on nourish, even tho the dur is small ish, around 16 seconds with this build. casting zenuriks wellspring will give you tons of energy back in that short amount of time due to having extremly high str for nourish energy gain bonus. Ive tried out other subumes but that one seems to work very well for that type of build. I also swapped rolling guard for constitution for a lil extra duration but i dont think its too needed so that can be a flex slot. However something i did notice is the archon mods works well with ledgerman due to the fact that when the explosions go off, they do 1 single elemental damage type. so if you swap out stretch with archon stretch, it procs very often. so long as you keep nourish up youll passively regen energy without having to move around. And if your in a pinch for energy youll always have wellspring to fall back on. plus steadfast will trigger since youll be casting her 2 and nourish very often. givin you free casts pr proc. oh and it wouldnt hurt tossing 2 blue shards on her that give extra energy, along with casting speed shards. overall great nuke frame for defense maps
Hey @TheKengineer I'm a big fan and love all your videos. I'm not sure if anyone has said but I think it's [Synth Deconstruct] that helps you gather more energy and not [Synth Fiber] stated at 3:23. Aside from that, some great work as ever! Cheers and keep doing what you do.
Nah, no. Saryn is all about range. Strength is... "usefull" but always slap on more range. Hit an enemy with 1, THEN KILL IT to spread the spores, THEN hit 4 to nuke enemies in range doing 400% dmg if they are already infected by spores. If they then die whilst still under the effect of 4 they spread the spores to new enemies in range. Also her augmented 2 is ample survivability. healing you for 2x your max hp, dropping a decoy AND cleaning all effects including bleeds. I dunno ken, I'm used to more exact info. First time I don't fully agree. Ah well
And we don't really car about duration. It should not be reduce too mush, but have 70-100 is fine. For the power : when we don't have enough : the spore will take a bit more time to stack, but we will still end up with enough damage to kill the ennemis. The range is by far the most important.
This, though I will add that after a point, her Miasma is no longer really a damage dealer. The spores do the real damage once ramped up. What miasma is for after that point is ensuring that the spore spreads on enemy death.
Agreed, I usually poke enemies with 1 and immediately kill them, and usually reserve Miasma for when I've got 20+ enemies infected. but I've always had a hard time with the ACTUAL effects of Saryn. I did learn that Miasma, while active, makes ALL enemies behave more like the "initial cast" victim, so Miasma is good to help "maintain" the infection....for that I have BEEN just using Spores over and over, much like a Mirage explosive ledgedermain build...[which works, in ESO because Simaris doesn't care as much if I spam that ability.] But using spores while the pox is still active...actually has detrimental effects I has not noticed. it consumes at base, 20% of the DPS and in return reduces the casting cost by 50% So....using miasma, and toxic lash to maintain an exhisting plague would help the DPS stack faster. *is reading the wiki.*
You need around 200% strength for spore to have at least a 100% chance to hit. If you have less than 100%, your spores will "miss" when you aim at enemies sometimes.
I put Roar on Volts shield,,,,,,edit I mean dash.......... Can clear about any room. with the umbra mod, discharge will wipe out Cetus lil sentients. Aug reach ,stretch, Aug message , umbral vit and intensify, Aug secrets, primed Flow and cont. Power drift and corrosive projection.
Saryn with Gloom is extremely viable too. The spores counter is considered damage that you do, and when you have them spread of multiple enemies, it only takes 1 tick to fully heal you up with gloom. If you have spare energy like in eso, you can keep gloom up which basically makes you not take any damage. With how focus the saryn is on range, you can pretty much freeze the entire map with gloom on eso. Gloom saryn is best with both Umbra mods for extra strength and HP. Saryn is squishy, but having 1000 HP and shield gating is good enough margin for you to toggle gloom and constantly instantly recharge health
My build sacrifices strength to maintain efficiency. Sure it takes a bit longer to ramp up, but you'll deal more than enough damage once your spores stack high enough. Saryn's problem has never been a lack of damage, it's that at some point you'll be dealing SO MUCH damage that you won't be able to shoot/tag infected enemies with a 3rd ability buffed weapon or her 4th ability before they die. I replaced her 2 (I know, it's heresy) with gloom and I'm immortal except for 1-shots. And 1-shots are a lot rarer when enemies are massively slowed while near me. As for energy maintenance, I use my heavy-attack nikana zaw with exodia brave. I rarely ever struggle with maintaining my energy with that and zenuric.
Armor strip with volts discharge is a must in higher/SP levels, so I had pillage subsumed (also for shield gating). But it does require a lot of strength to armor strip in one cast and may require archon shards if you want to reach the breakpoint without sacrificing a lot of efficiency. Saryn however can carry with just 100 strength and full range. Damage ramps up faster with strength but it does work with just base str. You can even find yourself losing damage stacks because you nuked too hard on ESO :D
Ive personally been using Hildryn with electric Elemental Ward subsumed on her one. Using her three with EW nukes through low level stuff and if you combine it with her two and its augment that causes heat procs means you can even do it on steel path. Its not as quick, and you should shoot still but it definitely kills things even there.
Sadly, mirage got indirectly nerfed by the new update, since now there are less types of ammos thus less unused pickups on the floor ready to be triggered
I got my Equinox prime last night and I was trying to build a nuker using Maim as your video popped up on my phone. heh, great timing. I appreciate the insight
For Mirage, I like to go with Archon Stretch and Archon Continuity, adding Sickening Pulse instead of the 4th ability. This way you'll have a small energy regen (not that important but still), corrosive damage and better cc (10 stacks of cold) and better overall damage for armored units.
I don't know if DE nerfed Equinox but there was a time when I did Infested defense to get a certain item. So it was me and my brother. I had Equinox and brother used Banshee. I used Maim as normal to rack up damage. But my brother would be using Sonar to put weakspots on enemies and this was really effective. As the rounds went on I kept wiping out infested so quickly because of the damage bonus from Sonar. It wasn't uncommon to easily get 1+ million stored damage on her then. For Saryn you generally just need to use the first ability. You pop that on an enemy, kill said enemy and see it being spread to everyone in the area. The biggest problem with the build that I have is that it kills everyone so quickly that I can't keep storing up damage with it. Not that it matters much because everyone still dies so quickly. Even in onslaught mode I would end up wiping out all enemies and have to wait the few seconds for them to start spawning again. For basically any energy problems, the Operator that can spawn a field of energy gain is the go to mechanic. If you just use your skills sparingly you won't really go out of energy.
For now Volt works incredibly great with some energy pickup efficiency archon shards (and maybe +1 starting energy shard for onslaughts, so you don't need preparation mod this way) and - just for memes - archon stretch mod. For more memes and easy nukes there is dispensary helminth ability. Place it into 1. Some high quality life with actually unlimited energy.
Energy shouldn't be a problem on volt anymore. 😏 I have my own version of a nuke volt. He's devistating on closely packed, or evenly spaced out enemies. It can send a stream of energy lightning all around the map if timed right, and end up with a rediculous amount of over shields. Lots of fun.
Don't know if you were counting for helminth in this video or not but Harrow with Thermal sunder is also an excellent nuke able to get 500-1000 kills in a single round of eso, he also has near infinite amount of energy and is also extremely easy to manage and spam. Great video btw
I used to main mirage nuke or hildryn energy support in ESO. Then I got Harrow prime and dared to equip the Acceltra (I had just rolled a halfway decent riven for it...). Now I go into ESO missions and tell the squad "Feel free to spam abilities! I'm an energy support!" I have legit gotten expletives and other stunned responses when the end of mission stats show up and people see that I gave out 240k energy in 8 rounds... (that was my personal best. I regularly hit 150k plus though).
Harrow with subsumed thermal sunder is the silliest and potentially most broken nuke for star chart level content. High range and strength, cast thurible, then spam thermal sunder until everything dies
i used to play this game and i played volt a lot and found that maxing range to 280(?) was doing way more damage than modding for strength. it also made mana or energy less of an issue. throw in the extra helmet aswell, maybe its strength on volt and range on mag, cant remember.
Hitting more enemies in a large area significantly increases his dmg due to the mass of lighting jumping between enemies rather than hitting a couple really hard
You missed Ash. Bladestorm scales based on melee combo and finisher damage, so with Innodem's evolution boosts Ash can get some ridiculous nuke numbers - and it's all slash, which bypasses armor and can be doubled again by viral procs.
@@chotnik Yeah, literally just spin your mouse over them. Combo this with Savage Silence and you have an absurdly high damage AoE nuke with a durable frame.
It seems clearly focused on "classic" nukes. Frames that have been doing it for a long time, and are well known for it. And that can benefit from Helminth but don't require it.
He's a very cool frame and has a pretty neat interaction but he can't inherently nuke which appears to be what the focus is on in the vid. More sad that Prism Guard Mirage wasn't showcased as its arguably better than Legerdemain in terms of KPS if solo or about wave 6+ in ESO. And they're nerfing the spawn chance of ammo packs with veilbreaker which will hurt Legerdemain. How much remains to be seen but there's a small chance its terminal.
The best nuke the game is Harrow (Prime if you got it) with subsumed Gauss ability Thermal Sunder (Tap button for Cold, Hold button for Heat, cast both for blast). First cast Thurible 3rd for energy regen. Best build for this is running a low efficiency, high strength, high range and average duration build that will easily get kills into the 50s. You can recast it over and over with the stacking kills. Surprisingly, Onslaught lets you cast it quite a lot before cooldown timer. I bet few people mention it because they don't want it nerfed.
@@jtbanner7220 but it does work well for fast Nora Bounties such as Invasions/Syndicate mission defenses that you want to finish 10 waves minutes 5 minites. Aka do up to wave 20 in a defense too. Edit: also, take a look at new Archon Vitality mod.. may work better for a higher end version of the build.
slightly dissapointed you didnt mention nyx. my favorite build overall lately is an assimilate augmented nyx with dispensary subsumed in. she can essentially stay permanently invulnerable as long as she wants, and when i feel like it, i can discharge her 4 for a huge nuke blast dealing out all the stored damage enemies had tried to deal to her.
I love Nyx... but the reason she shouldn't be considered a nuke is because she can't clear large sections of a map. A nuke is a frame that clears a lot of enemies over and over and very fast. Nyx is great, but she can't do that. Years ago, when people still used armor strippers in Plague Star and crews would recruit for Oberons or Mags, I would request to join and ask if I could run my Nyx instead. I got a lot of pushback in those days because most people didn't know she could strip, but after the runs people would always ask for the build. Nowadays most people know Nyx can strip and it was not uncommon to see players running her in SP Void Cascade runs after the Zariman update.
Ember has never sat right with me since world in fire was removed. My main issue other than a passive being turned into a spam spell is the abilities you are actually using add to your overheat rate so her energy efficiency nose dives by having to spam 2 spells over and over lest her “passive DR defence”turn unto a toggle and stop a bunch of regen types from working anymore while also draining energy per second. She’s simply too annoying to play anymore. It’s worse than the pillage spam on Hildryn (the frame I initially put into my old ember build slot as her passive beams are stronger and easier to maintain but require LoS from your toes to auto-target all enemies around you). Thankfully I found other far more effective “I’m here to farm, not aim” frames for chasing the low percentile drops while watching second monitor content.
So ive played warframe on and off for years. I havent used Ember since like 2014/2015. This is now me finding out in 2023 that her World on Fire ability is gone and has been replaced...im heartbroken..
The only thing I just hate about nuke frames, is because of the same reason people dislike AOE. It becomes boring when you're not the nuke frame. Like, if I'm playing with a nuking Saryn on my team, I could literally just make lunch, eat it, and come back to still be alive. Not that fun
I'm surprised Gauss isn't on here, maybe instead of Mirage. Thermal sunder scales infinitely, but does require some set up (using redline and hitting 100% for faster scaling and better energy economy, but isn't entirely necessary due to how heat procs scale) and needs good energy discipline - as a bonus, he tanks well and is overall a fun warframe to use, not just as a nuke frame.
@@yasirabdulhakeem I'd assume he would want one that's good at very high scaling damage, one for high range and coverage, one that has high ease of use, and one that's a strong balance between them. I haven't watched the video, just judging from the title. Yeah I agree with original commenter. Gauss is a frame that can do so much absurd damage and nuking without augments, prime mods, helminth, forma, arcanes or any weapons. Not to mention he has the tank, a very good crowd control, some modest buffs from his 2 and 3 (only modest when built for nuking), and great energy econ. Its range is pretty good, being a 28 meter radius for both the nuke and the crowd control with just over extended and stretch, and doesn't need line of sight. But there are a few draw backs that make him worse than others in some ways when it comes to nuking. You can only have your max nuke potential up when your redline is at 100%. Not to mention the mechanics of his damage potential are super hampered when it comes to enemies with innate damage reduction that isn't tied to armor like demos and the noxes, or enemies with a small limit on the number of heat procs they can take (or outright immunity) like acolytes or liches. These damage resistances decrease both the damage of the heat procs, and the amount that thermal sunder scales from. The 90% innate damage resistance demos have can turn would have been over 18 million damage into less than 1.8 thousand. And the biggest problem with the nuking in my opinion, is that it sucks against enemies that can't do enough damage to you to refill your energy enough, in which case he gets outdone by most nuke frames.
Love how ppl sleep on Garuda. Her Mirror ability absorbs and NULLIFIES damage. With a range/strength build I'm using it's attack for millions per of dmg per use on steel
7:38, last time I checked, the subsumed Fire Blast does not scale with Power Strength, thus always remains at 75%. Could be that they changed it though but I don’t think they did.
ah that was how it worked, been a while since I used it, thanks. Also I seemed to have misunderstood what the video said, I probably confused you saying 100% power strength with 100% armor strip, so that’s my bad
There's a chance that the ammo pack nerf coming with veilbreaker later this month will kill Legerdemain Mirage. Kind of disappointed you didn't touch on that as a word of warning.
DE has stated that in testing, her average DMG doesn't go down that much. I don't 100% trust that, but at least they did think to look into the change affecting her. So it's on their radar of things to look at as the change is implemented.
@@codycannon2356 Have they? I don't recall it being mentioned in the dev stream last week but that doesn't mean it wasn't said elsewhere. Either way I'd be okay with her getting a nerf. Legerdemain is the most brain dead nuke spec once it gets rolling.
@@gault6546 It’s too much of a pain to use, I’d rather sacrifice an ability of mine for dispensary than use that abomination of an arcane again. Also, for the warframes that it mattered, it’s useless now. For example, Valkyr is unusable because the massive energy drain of her 4, the arcane made her usable because you could offset the energy drain, now you no longer can. And since its a channeled ability, not much else works really.
DPS warframes are fun and all, but they still require you to press a couple of buttons to kill stuff. Which is what players don't want. What players want is a frame that can play the game for them while they go out and make breakfast. Sadly this is why a certain frame is leaps and bounds more popular than literally everything else.

I use brief respirlte for shield gating on xaku and its pretty great. Running an ensnare combo. You can use ensnare on a gazed target for some amazing CC
finally someone talking about the nuke potential of xaku…. i thought i was the only one
Might have to use him tomorrow. You can walk through missions with the ghost guns.
Yup, with zaku + lua lens, I can max out may daily focus cap on ESO for just around 5-6 rounds
Worth noting for Saryn that AoE weapons will also burst and spread the spores... I've gotten spore strength in the thousands on ESO just paring it with weapons like Ignis Wraith.
Ogris will work too?
@@gimmethegreens If memory serves me well, it does. But I think, only when you have her 3 on.
It is mentioned in the video - Toxic Leash
You can also get a lot of damage out of acid shells and combustion beam using toxic lash + a bane mod and/or roar.
I wish you could hold his 1 like shown in the cinematic or make it have the augment for bonus dmg by default. That's all he needs tbh
Personally I use volts 1 over any of his other abilities including his 4th
@M Williamson H0W
Sadly your 2 is less memy
-someone who plays way to much volt.
One thing you forgot to mention with equinox if there's two of them they can nuke off each other build up damage one nukes while the other stores more damage and vice verser
Oh gods, that sounds an awful lot like a feedback loop of PAIN for the poor enemies caught in it.
I appreciate the pillage suggestion. I didn't want to put gloom on everything because that just seems kind of boring, so I'm gonna try this out
There’s some frames that will always be the best because their damage scales up like Saryn and Octavia.
Classical nukes people don't use anymore:
Mag with duration and range on Magnetize
Nova with duration and range on Antimatter Drop
😔😔
frost avalanche was a pretty common nuke at some point. So were oberon reckoning. Those two still don't need line of sight to do damage in a 360 area.
Antimatter drop no longer scales with range and strength
I remember a few years back, that's how some people made it to 10h+ survivals
Hey could u share me your mirage build?
@@jocsanmenjivar ok. The auto filter ate my first reply.
If you know the overframe warframe builds site, you can find my build under the build name "Mirage ESO Esplosive Legerdemain"
Once you find it, you can also look at the rest of my builds including the Sepfahn heavy attack build that I use.
Grendel should really be on here. He was incredible before, but now with Terrify he can do it with a stellar energy economy.

@@IdlestHands thing is that, if they do get banned for it, they'll complain about it, even tho people have warned players against it
I've used addons like this for multiple MMOs.
Thekengineer, I'm a Saryn main and I think that putting Blind Rage on her build is the worst thing you can do, although it's very common to see
With blind rage you need to spend a slot to put a efficiency mod and without it you dont even need to put flow on the build, a maxed energize will do the job almost alone,
With those free slots you can make her a lot tankier with adaptation or umbral vitality/fiber.
Health and armor are useless.
@@talesfigueiredo9534 >rolling guard useless
lol
with the new armor stripping mechanics, ember no longer needs to wait till her temp meter gets to full before casting fire blast, for a couple of fire blasts at minimum will do the job now
small tweek to mirage ledgerman build. replace flow with P continuity, power drift with cunning drift, and swap out energize for steadfast. i subsumed on nourish, even tho the dur is small ish, around 16 seconds with this build. casting zenuriks wellspring will give you tons of energy back in that short amount of time due to having extremly high str for nourish energy gain bonus.
For the volt build, swap archon stretch for stretch for some energy regen
Hey @TheKengineer I'm a big fan and love all your videos. I'm not sure if anyone has said but I think it's [Synth Deconstruct] that helps you gather more energy and not [Synth Fiber] stated at 3:23. Aside from that, some great work as ever! Cheers and keep doing what you do.
Synth Fiber allows you to pick up health orbs while at full health, which then triggers Equilibrium to also pick up energy from the health orb.
@@TheKengineer Ah ha! I should know better than to question the Kengineer! Cheers
@@paulamblard3836 toxic lash is so underrated
This, though I will add that after a point, her Miasma is no longer really a damage dealer. The spores do the real damage once ramped up. What miasma is for after that point is ensuring that the spore spreads on enemy death.
Agreed, I usually poke enemies with 1 and immediately kill them, and usually reserve Miasma for when I've got 20+ enemies infected. but I've always had a hard time with the ACTUAL effects of Saryn. I did learn that Miasma, while active, makes ALL enemies behave more like the "initial cast" victim, so Miasma is good to help "maintain" the infection....for that I have BEEN just using Spores over and over, much like a Mirage explosive ledgedermain build...[which works, in ESO because Simaris doesn't care as much if I spam that ability.] But using spores while the pox is still active...actually has detrimental effects I has not noticed. it consumes at base, 20% of the DPS and in return reduces the casting cost by 50%
So....using miasma, and toxic lash to maintain an exhisting plague would help the DPS stack faster. *is reading the wiki.*
You need around 200% strength for spore to have at least a 100% chance to hit. If you have less than 100%, your spores will "miss" when you aim at enemies sometimes.
VOLT BEING AN "ENERGY-HUNGRY" BUILD HAD ME ROLLING OH MY GOSH
With such high range and low efficiency, doesn't that run out of energy often?
@@Bridge2110 thats why you run rage or hunt adrenaline. Any slight damage gets you health damage, gloom on, nuke, heal, gain energy for free.
People are sleeping on Nuke Frost smh.
I have a Saryn Prime, looks like I'll have to work on building for this Nuke Build.
Sadly, mirage got indirectly nerfed by the new update, since now there are less types of ammos thus less unused pickups on the floor ready to be triggered
Hildryn with Thermal Sunder and the Blazing Pillage augment mod is something to look into, works really well in SP
If you just use your skills sparingly you won't really go out of energy.
the rhino stomp build is what I usually go for for nukes
For now Volt works incredibly great with some energy pickup efficiency archon shards (and maybe +1 starting energy shard for onslaughts, so you don't need preparation mod this way) and - just for memes - archon stretch mod.
For more memes and easy nukes there is dispensary helminth ability. Place it into 1.
Some high quality life with actually unlimited energy.
Energy shouldn't be a problem on volt anymore. 😏
I have my own version of a nuke volt.
Shhhh don't tell people about harrow, let DE put an even better damage ability in hemelith
Archon Stretch for more Energy for Volt!
I’m seeing a lot more Ember nukes nowadays.
i used to play this game and i played volt a lot and found that maxing range to 280(?) was doing way more damage than modding for strength. it also made mana or energy less of an issue.
throw in the extra helmet aswell, maybe its strength on volt and range on mag, cant remember.
Can you apply this to the whole room? Because this is what this video is about
@@chotnik Yeah, literally just spin your mouse over them. Combo this with Savage Silence and you have an absurdly high damage AoE nuke with a durable frame.

I think a video where you showcased these frames nuking zone 3 would be popular.
Hildryn( + pillage) + thermal sunder. Loots of range, max strenght, medium duration, infinite energy, armor strip, cold, heat, blast nuke
gara should 100% be on this list
Surprised to not see Harrow on here. He can solo ESO pretty comfortably with thermal sunder.
Firstly, amazing and informative video as always!
Secondly, could you please share your volt fashion? I'm in love with it.
It doesnt scale well.
ESO I do love me some Saryn. that said...if if you struggle with her, have a buddy bring a high power wisp. those health buffs will keep you going!
slightly dissapointed you didnt mention nyx. my favorite build overall lately is an assimilate augmented nyx with dispensary subsumed in. she can essentially stay permanently invulnerable as long as she wants, and when i feel like it, i can discharge her 4 for a huge nuke blast dealing out all the stored damage enemies had tried to deal to her.
Nowadays most people know Nyx can strip and it was not uncommon to see players running her in SP Void Cascade runs after the Zariman update.
what happened to Banshee ? she used to be at the top
I think the Mirage kuke will be less effective after the ammo drop nerf coming on the next patch maybe?
Exactly this, with less drop chance for ammo and having to pick them up if you use a weapon at all is bad
Sad Gara noises(also a nuke frame)
Another nuke that can reach damshe cap is zephyr with a nose dive bulid
Until now still using Mirage for Acolyte Hunting on steelpath. I like your guide videos about Warframe.
So ive played warframe on and off for years. I havent used Ember since like 2014/2015. This is now me finding out in 2023 that her World on Fire ability is gone and has been replaced...im heartbroken..
volt is going to be ultra nice with the shield buff next update owo
OwO
We stan Equinox around these parts.
Gauss (along with others like Gara) are certainly up there but just didn't make the cut for this video is all
@@TheKengineer what criteria did/do you use when you classify 'nuke frames/builds'? Scaling, area of effect, range, etc?
There's just something really satisfying about pressing a button and yeeting a room of enemies. The MIGHTY SEER is the most powerful nuker in the game
I like the voice crack at 7:38
I think it adds extra personality to the video
confirms hes not just a robot youtuber
No Caliban? I've fallen in love with his 2 and 4 for nuking with Molt Augmented equipped
Nezha with firewall replaced for xatus exhume is just nasty.
It's affected by power strength, but is *capped* at 75%. It starts at 50%
It's affected by negative strength, meaning you can get a lower armor strip but can't get higher than 75%.
ah that was how it worked, been a while since I used it, thanks.
@@Arkitrin Pablo talked about it on Twitter
You missed the demon warframe sevagoth but this was a good knowing vid
I just got my hands on an archon vitality, thermal sunder-harrow prime :)
Thought you made something new, these build have been here a long time.
Awesome video, and some insight on frames i dont play that often so thumbs up.... one question though, what about Octavia and Mesa?.
7:36 Emergence Dissipate got dethroned a while ago, I personally don’t think it’s worth using anymore.
its still quite a bit of free energy. you just need to be more patient when using it.
I thought Lavos would be in this video. The fact that he isn't talks a lot about his performance as a frame
DPS warframes are fun and all, but they still require you to press a couple of buttons to kill stuff. Which is what players don't want. What players want is a frame that can play the game for them while they go out and make breakfast. Sadly this is why a certain frame is leaps and bounds more popular than literally everything else.
That's why said frame is getting nerfed.
I hate the idea of the game playing itself. I like warframe so I want to actively play it
wukong 🤢🤮
Wukong 🤮🤮🤮
Why do u care how players play the game? If u dont like it play solo or with friend. Honestly if players want to close their brain while farmin let them. U are in no position to tell others how to play
I made a ash nuke build that I love using
Neat eso star chart nukes
All you really need is terrify to do sp nuking
I always find with saryn I can't keep up with my own abilities
I'll have to check again, but I didn't think Preparation worked in SO or ESO. 4:28
It does. Go try it out.
@@TheKengineer Looks like they changed that in February and I hadn't noticed. Wiki: Update 31.1 (2022-02-09) Fixed Preparation Mod not setting your max Energy after entering a Sanctuary Onslaught Conduit.
Hey bud notice on saryn it should be 204, you need that overall value to kill your enemies
my first warframe was volt and i went immediately and bought volt prime i dont want to have to use any other warframe there is just something about watching enemies writhe in the pain of electrocution
4:32 WAIT HOLD UP Does it actually give you max energy at the start OF EACH ROUND?? I thought it was just at the start of mission??
For (Elite) Sanctuary Onslaught, every round yep.
I main Ash Prime.
He looks nothing like ash anymore and he's a complete powerhouse. I can solo basically anything.
It may take effort comparable to some other builds - but coming from devil may cry. I really enjoy Ash Prime haha
Ima say saryn is the best nuke i have negative strength and max range with garas subsume on for ultimate energy orbs for my mates
With how the ammo drop changing in the near future, RIP mirage.
Could you make a video, or recommend one with all the new weapons that will be considered best when the Explosive weapon nerf comes?
Had a freind who seemed to get breach surge to pop saryn spores but i think it got patched or aomething never or maybe i missunderstood he was def nuking with it
I've always read it as explosive ledgerman, I've only just realised this is wrong XD
Volt nuke is so satisfying though.
for ESO all of these builds should have corrosive projection, its just better, even for saryn
Showing off Explosive Legerdemain right now is a bad idea because the ammo changes are going to significantly reduce its effectiveness.
[DE]Pablo said internal testers tried Mirage with the changes and found it to still be very effective.
@@TheKengineer Statistically impossible unless they buffed it. That augments damage already doesn't scale well, reducing its AoE is a hard nerf. Prism Guard build is objectively superior now.
Hey kengineer, would you have a recommended build for saryn using umbra mods?
my brain is still like a rock to this game
Blazing Pillage 400% strength Hildryn is a great nuke for Steel Path. Subsume in Breach Surge and it will destroy rooms.
Soon you won’t need 400% strength anymore since armor strip is going to be additive :p
@@wumpie5267 I'll still use it. It works well in her build and it's nice to have a one cast strip.
@@TheTankyCrowbar Oh yeah that’s totally fair, it’s still good of course, but it’s completely not required, as long as you hit the 50% treshold it’ll be amazing.
MR9 - This operator has a long way to go to even consider one of these options.
equinox maim build, nova, sarin, mirage, ember
