How to Grow California Poppy? (READ DESCRIPTION)

Today's beautiful orange-yellow flower is the California poppy 🌷 She's super easy to grow and brings in a ton of different pollinators (mainly bees, butterflies and beetles)! 🐝
Here's what you need to plant her at home 🏠
1️⃣ Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil
2️⃣ Sow seeds directly into the soil (this is usually done in the early spring or fall)
3️⃣ Keep the soil moist until they germinate
4️⃣ Thin your seedlings and make sure there's plenty of spacing between them
5️⃣ Water deeply and sparingly
6️⃣ Pinch off the flowers just below the base of the flower head to encourage more blooms
7️⃣ Monitor for pests and control as needed
