I thought the song couldn't get any better but they hit it with the Esquella awsomeness and it got 100× better. Javier was always one of my favorite characters in the game and it's a shame he didn't get more attention. ♡w♡

I started playing the game again so it’s very subtle, but the conversation Javier had with Arthur about Dutch clearly points he wouldn’t betray Dutch because his ideals matched with his own ideals and clearly he was kind of okay with Dutch attitude since he had to escape Mexico because of his crimes so he really had to do some fucked up shit back then. Even afterwards in RDR1 he tells Marston he can guide him to Dutch who at that moment was supposed to be in Colombia and the fact that they weren’t together anymore (Bill, Javier and Dutch) looks like they were starting to disagree with Dutch’s ideas

Hola Gabriel, just wanted to show some appreciation for your work and Javier. I always felt something was off about Javier in rdr1 and that somehow in that scene between him and John, Javier was being honest and John was truly the bad guy in that situation. Your work turned Javier into my favorite character of the franchise. Hopeless romantic, the soul of the camp, loyal to the core (he managed to not betrayed Dutch, Arthur or even John) even if John saw it otherwise (I saw Javier point his gun to the sky and I know that was your choice, not Rockstar's). I see him as a very tragic character that crossed a line and never again knew true peace or happiness, and in a way, I think he doesn't believe himself to deserve them anymore. Very grateful for all the heart you put into him. I hope rdr2 opens you many doors so that you can keep getting amazing roles that you can pour yourself into. Looking forward to your future endeavours. Best of wishes.
