OG wide body. There's a few things I'd change but overall it looks pretty cool needs a restoration. In the 80s and 90s there was lots of this sort of thing happening some people were cutting roofs off like this that's the one thing that ruined a lot of them they just made the cars fold so the doors didn't close correctly. The wide body is cool I wouldn't of did the roadster thing.

Regarding the build, I think the only thing dating this car is the paint. A fresh paint job the original color would make this car get the appreciation it deserves. ( Personally, I would go bare metal, since it looks unique and shows the metal fabrication. ) But that is MY opinion, and not the car owner's. No This guy had the same vision And if the car was supposed to look like that , it would have came from the factory like that . If its so great , Why is it WASTING away ? Not my style, but Damn someone put a lot of time and energy into building this. Absolutely wild! He used the '73 rear bumper as well as cutting the down grill. Those look like Weld Rod Lites wheels.Hotrod had their Dare To Be Different section back in the late '80's and early 90's, and this would have fit right in. Love it!❤
Inner door panels are the Barracuda Gran Coupe trim level. I wonder how many out there are furiously looking for a pair of those for their restoration. I don't hate this, but like other have said, its too busy. This same shape without so many fins and stuff would look better, as well as a good cleanup and repaint, but its not mine, so, ah well.
I'm pushing 70 years old ,,,I spent time in 29 palms ,,I had 5 gto 5 of them ,,back then we would put Gabriel air shocks on the back jack them up and run a nice wheel and the widest tire we could put on,,,I was run 60 in front and 50 in the back ,,lift the paint stock and they look killer ,,we 😅😅😅😅 at a turd like that coming down the road,,,
So... objectively, i can see the direction this custom was headed into... but then, the road got curvy and the builder lost control. Certain aspects are cool... other aspects are WAY whacked out. If someone could UN rice this thing and make it properly great then, i think it could be kinda cool. But as is anything, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
