Left Behind: Capturing The Moor Hospital

This exhibition, ‘Left Behind: Capturing the Moor Hospital, showcased Lancaster’s abandoned 19th Century psychiatric hospital, The Moor Hospital, the first asylum in Lancashire. This project set the scene of what was left behind after closing its doors in 2000 and before the complex was given a new lease of life and redeveloped as luxury homes in 2013. The exhibition was shown at Lancaster City Museum, Lancaster, UK from 2 December 2016 to 19 February 2017 and was kindly supported by Lancaster Arts City, The Chamber North Lancashire, BID Lancaster and The Bay Radio.
