Bug reported on Jul 23 (issue 1358) and fixed on Jan 20 (commit 860616c). It was happening while Processing Addon was being used in Fermenting Machine. Tier 1 was doubling the output and Tier 2 was tripling it. Still exploitable in the current FTB Direwolf20 1.20 (v1.12.1).

I'd love to see you make a tutorial one day of Electrodynamics and its addons, I've always been interested in the mod but I couldn't understand anything and there's almost no videos about this mod
with a process system like this you would need either a line for each raw ore or a pipe system that can transfer set amounts of fluid (laserIO) but omg 15X is insane as mekanism is a bit odd when it comes to raw ore
for a 15x ore setup, thats not even an issue, ngl
With something like the RFTools builder or a chunk destroyer you’d have so many resources it would really matter. I’d probably do one set up per ore also. Or set up a passive with refined storage or AE2
@@Mondays3 yeah, i meant with so many resources the cost to set up one per ore would be negligible that the cost wouldn’t matter
Yep, just tried this in ATM9, and it's been patched. Also, I notice you had 4 upgrades in some of the machines, but I'm only able to fit in 3 (One of each type). Which one did you double up?
Pretty sure they fixed it, and now the upgrades doesn't affect output anymore. Before I think your production upgrade (x3 production) made the output x3 as well, so x5(ether) x3(addon) = x15. Now it's only x5, which is still awesome, but way less overpowered.
The upgrade only do speed related things. Speed is self explained, efficiency reduced amount of ticks per process and process makes more than 1 process happen per completed result. Upgrades don’t give extra items unfortunately
Use alltheores from the all the mods team. It unifies all the ores automatically instead of coding which ones you want
If you still want to retain a specific ore from a mod I recommend Almost Unified!

Not sure if any addon but they are in this mod and I’ll be covering them in a later video
I'm going to try this in ATM9 but it's almost certain they'll have already pre-nerfed it so the maximum multiplication is 1.3x or something. 🙄
I haven’t tried it on ATM9 yet but my plan is to use it also
The math in the fermenter is that if there was a option for 1x that would tripple the output.
(1x = 3)
2x = 6
3x = 9
4x = 12
5x= 15
This might have something to do with the upgrades
without upgrades I think it is:
2x = 2
3x= 3
and so on
Have you liked this mod much, or other tech modes like Mekanism, Thermal Expansion etc. suit better for you? 🤔
This mod is growing on me a lot more. I’d still use mekanism as an early game go too but for later I’d switch for some things
@@Mondays3 I am thinking about using IF in my modpack but it looks too OP and makes Mekanism hard ore processing useless with this 15x...
If you are using purely IF then it’s kind of a hard mod to get to late game tbh. Only with other mods it becomes a bit op
@@Mondays3 I am making a huge modpack with nearly 200-250 mods, including Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, Ad Astra, Pneumatic Craft, Create, Applied Energistics, Immersive Engineering etc. I already have problems with dealing with same items from different mods and their crafting recipes (for example, in ad astra steel can be made just by smelting iron, while in mekanism... it is twice as harder to make it), so adding IF to the modpack will cause some problems with balance with other resources, I guess 😰

Am i dummy ? Cause it doesn't work with me it's just 5x time. Firt i tried it in atm9 it didn't worked then i tried separately just IF at 20.1 and it still didn't worked out, did they already fixed it?😮😮😮
Its definitely 5x in atm9 and I think its more balanced that way.
are you sure it's 15x? i thought it was 5x (each 100mb raw ore meat goes up to 500mb fermented ore meat iirc)
At the end of the video we test it. 10 raw iron in. 150 iron ingots out
woah. i feel a bit goofy showing off that i somehow missed that part of the video but that is wild!
Still in 2024 people are still showing recipes.

Its a waste of everyone's time,
1. Recipes change all the time with different packs
2. There is JEI
3. We are going to forget the recipes
4. Thats why we have JEI
I don’t want to do them either but more people voted saying they want them than don’t. Most people need that little extra help and I’m glad to give it. It would save me time and effort if I didn’t have to do it also
