Im not at all surprised by this. That police force are so corrupt and lazy, and I hate to say this but theyre also racsists. (im white and I hate racsists so i dont have a problem saying that, its the damned truth)
I also can say that her fiance Bobby was a regular customer where I worked. I always felt he was very strange. His behavior was "off".
I hope and pray that some day the truth will be exposed. I have always felt so horrible for her family. Theyre good people, you can easily see that.
I have also felt that her fiance had something to do with this. Why? Because he was very strange, like I said his behavior was just off every time I noticed him standing around just lingering around. I never once saw him buy anything.

    • @johnowen8726
      @johnowen8726 Před 4 lety +13

Somar it is so much worse than that. It’s a case of an agency out of control. No leadership, no strong leadership. B type personalities are not Police Officers for very long, It takes a strong A leader to control that much power. Sadly that is lacking. Or was. But to your point, I was LE for my whole life. Color of your skin didn’t mean crap. I have investigated criminal skullduggery for 40 plus years. Many cops do see only one color. That’s blue, but blue is just a part of the family. My dad always warned me against being the bully, or wolf in today’s language. Be righteous and upstanding. Do your fellow man no harm lest he do you harm. Sadly this generation of Police Officer is retiring, so I can only pray that my knowledge was somehow helpful in crafting the young officers today and these cases of malfeasance are rare.

Late to them game here but a still relevant question:
I once saw a man harassing a woman on a subway. He followed her from seat to seat when he was just being aggressive and clearly making her uncomfortable (just a note: she was already sitting alone when he got on 2 stops later, they didn't seem to know each other)
I'm a dude and an intimidating looking dude. But given how persistent and determined this guys behavior was I thought that if I'd intervened it might ESCALATE the situation some way. This was one of the lines in the LA subway system, no phone calls possible. The seats are just 2 seaters (at least in all the cars I've been on, so I couldn't have "sat between them")
What would've been the best to help this person without a) frightening her even more, after all, I am ALSO a stranger and b) not endangering myself or her by trying to be helpful?
Yes, there were other people but it's L.A., nobody cares. The best way I've heard L.A people described - _It's not about you, it's not about me; it's about what YOU can do for ME_

@@egregiousqueef7781 this is a late reply to your question but I saw it and thought it was great that you asked so I’ll put my two cents in. I think in a situation like that it might be good to look at the woman and say “hey, are you good?” And the purpose of that question isn’t to get an honest answer because (a) the answer is probably no and (b) the woman might be afraid to say no in front of that man. The purpose would be to show the man that his behavior is noticed by other people, those people don’t approve of the behavior, and at LEAST one person will not silently let him harass someone. You’re letting him know that people are watching and not letting him get away with it. I think this approach helps with both concerns . (1) you’re not overstepping your boundaries as a stranger. You’re showing that you’re looking out without deciding the best approach to that situation or assuming what she wants to be done. (2) you’re focused on interacting with the woman and not the person harassing her. Which I think lowers the escalation risk (as opposed to going straight in with a “hey! What the hell are you doing!”). I think this approach allows for a safer opening to assess the situation, potential for risks, and most effective next steps. If after asking something like “are you good?” They respond with “help me” eyes or something - I would recommend asking them “do you want to sit in this seat?” If there’s one near/next to you. Something like that. Those are my thoughts on it, from my POV as a woman.

Something is fishy in the fact that her laundry clothing was found folded in her vehicle @11:48. The encouragement by her family was that, due to the harassment at the laundromat, she was to come home to dry her clothes. But she apparently not only dries her clothes at the laundromat, but then folds the clothing and then even goes to the convenience store to buy some items, despite the fact that she told her family that "she'll be back" @2:39. This doesn't seem like a girl who is concerned about some guys harassing her at a laundromat. Also look at her clothing in the convenience store footage. I could be wrong, but it seems her breasts are pouring out of the top of her top @6:39. Her choice of clothing, especially what she is wearing up top, definitely doesn't come across like she is concerned about guys harassing her in a sexual manner "flirting and things along that line" @6:30 as she portrays to her family.
Niqui's fiancé doesn't seem her "speed". Working at a correctional facility means you have to be very street smart and savvy. Nothing about her behavior at the laundromat seems to show street smarts, UNLESS there was no threat. With security officer training, she would definitely know how to fight off an attacker to some degree in broad daylight in a public area. So a snatch and grab, without someone seeing, seems out of the question. Telling her family about two men harassing her could have been done to throw everyone off the trail, and having her vehicle parked at her ex's house could have also been done to throw everyone off her trail. She is a beautiful girl and no doubt caught the attention of many inside the correction facility. Those facilities too are where many elaborate schemes are devised and planned.
Something was definitely going on between Niqui and Tommy @13:58 if he is sending her lingerie at her bridal shower @ 14:20. He was sending a definite message to her that he doesn't want their relationship to end, and wanted everyone to know that she was his girl, as that is a gross violation of the bro code. That is something some folks would get killed for doing. He obviously wasn't afraid of the fiancé. It would seem she drove to Tommy's location of "her own accord" @12:18, which is totally unacceptable conduct for a girl about to get married, to be at men's location that she had a past with.
I think: She parked at her ex's place and walked to Tommy's house to tell him once again that their relationship was over and to tell him that the lingerie gift at her bridal party was a bad and trouble-making idea. She parked at the Ex's house because she was scared that if Tommy becomes violent and does away with her, the police would find her vehicle nearby and do the math to find out that Tommy lived close by. She was right about suspecting him of violence and was killed by him, as you can see by his behavior, that Tommy is a narcissist. He tried to find her vehicle to get rid of the evidence but could not find it in his complex and would never find it being that he doesn't know where her ex lives.
As a side note, I want to know why the DNA and fingerprints received from the guy by the police department he was working for, was not run through the database to see if it matched with any previous crimes. I was under the understanding that criminal background checks were done with the collected DNA and fingerprints of government officials that are newly hired.

Lots of people do awful things, especially to their partners, but not nearly enough are willing to reflect on their behavior and own it rather than excusing or justifying or shifting the blame. Of course it doesn't excuse or change anything you've already done, but just because you've _been_ a shitty person doesn't mean you have to _stay_ that way.

You NEVER go to a second location EVER! You fight to the death, scream yell force them to kill you in front of witnesses (which they most likely won't they will usually run away and find someone whos less trouble). NOTHING good EVER happens at a second location. They will torture you maybe for years, they will viciously rape you maybe for years. You're chances of survival basically drop to zero if they get you to a second location. Once they're in private they will harm kill or torture you. In public or in view of cameras they will usually run like the cowards they are.

Better to get shot & scream than obey a man with a gun telling you to get into the car. He will not only rape & terrorize you but he will kill you anyway.
Better to just pray & run for it while screaming...you may get shot or ran over but at least then youll have a chance both at living & him getting caught. Also, stop letting this world lie to you ladies....you are not equal in this world.
Men can abduct you quite easily with or w/o a gun & you need to think like that in such a way that you either stay armed or always travel with capable men or large groups. Be smart & you will live a better life & even possibly die a better death.
Beauty & attention can be the very thing that marks you in the eyes of these selfish heartless monsters whom we confused as men. Today you always hear about how men shouldnt disrespect women but let me be the first to remind you not to disrespect men nor provoke men to become monsters.
He may not rape & kill you but he may very well do it to some other girl because of the BS he went through with you that made him begin to hate women & see them as tools to use & throw away like garbage.
Many men who smile in your face are not your friends & would rape you if they thought they could get away with it. Be aware of the dark world we are in. Nobody wants to be murdered & raped but this is a reality of this dark world...if anybody needs a gun at all times, women, its you.

@@kenya9549 The above commenter is incorrect as Niqui's body has still never been found. The body she is speaking of belonged to Tina Marie Ivery the first woman that Niqui's ex murdered in 1991. So unfortunately theres still no update on this 17 year old case..Sad as she deserves a proper burial and family deserves some closure as i read that on every anniversary of her disappearance they gather at the laundromat she disappeared from as a way of remembering her. Another thing not included in this video is apparently Niqui was still involved with her ex (the one who killed himself before he could be apprehended) while engaged to her fiance. Niqui's sister begged her to end that relationship and her fiance was aware that Niqui was possibly cheating and they were attending couples counseling right around the time she disappeared. Her sisters believe that she was too scared to break up with her ex and its possible that she did and thats why he killed her.

Whitney Dahlin I disagree with the last part of your comment. Criminals do stupid shit ALL. THE. TIME. Aside from that, it’s not the same as a killer leaving the victim’s car in the driveway of their house. Most apartment complexes are big, but in some areas, they’re HUGE and have 1000+ tenants living on the property. They’re also usually grouped really closely to 1 or more _other_ apartment complexes. In these places, it’s absolutely possible for a person to multiple people in the same apartment complex and/or in the surrounding complexes. In those situations, the police have their work cut out for them because they could literally be looking for a complete stranger who just so happens to live near a bunch of her friends.
