      I been watching your channel religiously for about two weeks I'm currently building a turbo 400 hundred for my 64 El Camino that I did a Fram off restoration on it has a 454 pushing right in the ballpark of 600 hundred horse so the upgrade I'm doing to the Transmission is a Torrington at the rear of the case a case saver and a heavy duty intermediate snap ring witch I got all of those ideas from your channel the details you offer are very helpful like guiding a little bit off the top of the case saver so it dose not come into contact with the drum good observation details like that are what count keep up the good work I'll send you a picture after I get it together thanks again for getting back to me I might have more questions I want to get it right the first time I'm to old to keep dropping that Transmission out by myself in my car port lol any have a great evening

    I just picked up a TH400 short tail yesterday that's been sitting in a garage for 38 years from the original owner. And I'm excited to tear down and rebuild my first transmission

  • @outlastmetalworksllc4538

    Will the sonnax work in a 4l80E trans ?

    • @sandyman541
      @sandyman541 Před 2 lety

      I was going to ask him a similar question but I found the answer looking that part online to order it myself since i want to keep the band in....the one he has fits all th400 plus the early 4l80e up till I believe 98. I remember seeing a different part # for the 4l80es 98 and newer...looked the same online pic but must have a slightly different design. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to that as mine is a 70 th400 and the first part I clicked on just said it was for older 4l80s then the more I found the more clearer the description got. Hope this helps.

  • @cumberlandfleetservice6152

    How could I send you some parts I dont need?
