Are permeable pavers a good solution for area where soil is not stable? my area is prone to getting cracks in driveway and bricks become uneven. how do permeable pavers hold up in areas with high content of bentonite in soil?
These are great and all but convincing people the extra cost associated with it is going to help the amount of runoff produced and improve water quality in bodies of water etc downstream is difficult people don’t care about things they can’t see or doesn’t directly affect them
Now this is the correct way to do things! But the sad thing is no-one wants to put out that time or money. So what they get 1/5 butt job! I guess as long they're happy and that they feel like they accomplish something that's all it matters!
Arun Pandian add 7 parts aggregiate(could be small sized rocks) to 1 part cement and some water different aggregiate such as rock size shape could change the texture af the end result
Why do you say that? Is it because they didn't do the traditional crusher run/m10 (rock dust?) or river sand base? I've been seeing what seems to be a shift towards this permeable base method more and more lately, although it does seem to be more labor intensive.

Why does it need a liner? I thought it’s supposed to let the water through.
