  • Tesla Model 3 Windows SQUEAKING? (How I SILENCED them!)
UPDATE I used this product: amzn.to/3pTxKRP
However, I've noticed the squeak came back around 8 weeks later so I purchased; amzn.to/3tVfxa7 to spay inside the door a little, which now has 100% fixed the issue, so it's worth getting both (Or the last one and using a cloth to do the sills)
Are your Tesla Model 3 Windows making a scraping or squeaking noise?
My windows were super noisy and whilst it didn't bother me too much, people started to comment on just how loud they were.
I'd never been faced with this issue before so I wanted to do a quick video today showing you how I fixed the issue!

That’s an amazing transformation. Lovely when a simple cheap fix does the job.
We’ve not had the squeak yet, but my wife kept a bottle of WURTH Rubber Fit that came with the camper van (which we sold because it was diesel - full eco warriors), and smears it on about once a year, just because.
It was intended initially to stop the Ryhno roof sticking on the camper resulting in a potential seal peel when opening.

Hi Mark great video as always. Wonder if you have seen Tom Moloughney's CZcams video on the losses associated with charging which would make quite a difference in mileage costs. He says Tesla can lose 10% of the electricity used during charging and other makes up to 17%. Due the waste heat from the charger, charging cable, heat generated in the battery and the cooling system running especially in warm weather. Worse when using an AC home charger instead of the DC Supercharger.

I felt exactly the same as you. It's the fact that Teslas are so popular that the little problems are so public but truthfully some legacy companies have made cars with far more or far serious issues that don't get as much publicity. Truthfully, if you like Tesla model 3s, drive one, maybe rent one for a few days even, you might see why so many are willing to forgive the little problems for all the good stuff the car delivers. I've had issues with mine, 9 months in I've no regrets about the fact I spent 10 times the amount of money on this than I ever have on any car I've ever bought.
