I’ve never been to this church once in my life but I’ve listened to almost ever sermon he’s preached online and have grown to learn about God tremendously. He’s not only a great pastor but an amazing teacher of the Bible. He speaks the truth and ONLY the truth about the word of God. He is a true man of God.

My grandmother made ms for 40 years and congestive heart failure she was on hospice for four months. Got COVID recovered tested negative died a month later and on her death certificate COVID is the cause of death. Sounds like over reporting numbers to me

The interviewer is wrong on multiple points including saying the quarantine was only when within 6’ of someone WITH the virus. Sadly, she comes off as condescending on lecturing someone that takes the souls of those he is shepherding extremely serious.

The rainbow the sign of the Noahic covenant. 9 of the 10 commandments are carried over in the covenant. The sabbath is not. Maybe listen through it’s entirety to get what John is trying to explain. “Then He told them, “The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”” Mark 2:27-28 HCSB Yeah the 4th commandment gets a lot of exposure because Jesus, Himself, purposefully “invalidates” the sabbath many times. He literally says that it was made for man, not man for the sabbath. It’s God’s blessing to man to rest from his work, not a strict encumber-some law like the Jews turned it into. “For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.” Jesus would never violate the Ten Commandments. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. As Christians, we have and keep our “sabbath rest” in Christ. Those who have believed enter into God’s rest. Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath.
“Therefore, while the promise to enter His rest remains, let us fear that none of you should miss it.

You can continue to set aside a Sabbath day to honor God. But even Paul says that it is not an issue worth arguing about. To some there are special days, and to others, every day is the same. This isn’t an issue worth openly condemning a brother in Christ over. You call John MacArther a heretic over something that isn’t even essential for salvation, or sinful according to Scripture. This isn’t a hill to die on.

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled with the Holy Ghost and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.

Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. I will agree asking us to not assemble is asking us to sin agaisnt God's word. But asking us to mask and distance is not. Pastor is sinning agaisnt God's word. I love MacArthur but he has not provided justification for being disobedient to our leaders. Not being convinced isn't the reason we defy the law. Only if they order us to defy God's word.
But there’s a Higher Court that oversees reckless endangerment. The losses will be great and there will be no way to go back. People’s lives will be ruined forever and many will die. And they could have just listened to an online service and read their Bibles at home.

How is obeying pandemic safety measures mandated by our leaders contradicting God's word? Face masks and distancing? His response was he's simply not convinced. That's not what God says is the criteria for obeying the orders of our leaders. He's left God's order. Only if our leaders mandate we contradict God's word in sinning. Ordering us to take safety measures for our safety that they mandate and not obeying them is sin. Pastors and congregants are getting infected and and dying in our churches and spreading this virus to their communities.
