この二人の役どころは、お互いを嫌い、ライバルであり、実力は自分が上なんだというプライドを叩きつけながら嫌々歌うものの、ハーモニーを初めて合わせた時、自分たちの生み出した歌のあまりの美しさに戸惑う。歌いあううちに、これほど嫌い合い、存在を許せないとお互いに思いながらも、この相手こそが自分の実力を最大に引き出すことを認めざるを得ず、最高の芸術のために相手を求めるようになる。まさに歌詞とぴったり合った、そういう難しい感情をこの歌を歌いながら表現する新妻さん、笹本さん。いま思い出しても最高でした。

お二方とも本当に素晴らしい。これほどまでに美しく奥深いWind Beneath My Wingsは、かつて聴いたことが無い。伴奏もまた美しい。まさに珠玉。感動しました。
新妻聖子さん歌い始めた時、鳥肌立った
日本ミュージカル界を代表する若手女性のふたり。この歌唱も素晴らしいが、
舞台を見に行った観客はこのふたりなら当然これくらいはやるだろう、と期待していて、
それに本当に応える新妻＆笹本さん。結局４回も見に行ってしまいました。
作為、という感想には、あくまでこれはストーリーを持った舞台の一場面であることを申し上げたい。
新妻さんは知っていたが、笹本さんは去年のスター大集結の帝劇コンサートまでよく知らなかったミュージカル初心者です。
最近すっかり玲奈ちゃんに夢中になりました。
キムやエポは見られないけど、これからの舞台は絶対見に行きます。
玲奈ちゃん綺麗やなぁ。そして輝いてる。素敵です❤️
すばらしいですね。不覚にも録画を逃してしまいました。NHKでの再放送を待っているのですが・・・。Pride のフル ヴィデオをupしてほしいですね～。

一番最初の笹本さんのソロの時の新妻さんの目がすごくそれを表現してて好きです。

男性ですが女装が似合っており、ウケも良かったのでユニット活動中は内緒で女装してピアノ担当してます。
ちなみにピアニストとしての実力はかなりのものです(設定)。いがみ合っている二人が、この人の演奏のもとなら…と思ったくらいです。
