I feel exactly the same. Middle Eastern music makes me somehow long for home. As a 7 year old child I was highly interested in ancient Middle Eastern cultures and ancient Egypt, I had many books about this subject.

My ancestors were Aztecs and my family comes from Spain and Mexico and there’s a lot of Christian roots to the hebrews in my family, music like this reminds me of how different my family and life still is compared to what theirs would’ve been like
