this is like the only year where this system would've been more tense, but I still prefer the current system, since 439 point landslides in the televote are supremely uncommon
if they got 12 from every country they would have had 468
2016 was tense too
Yeah I like this new system. You don't really know what to expect when the televoting points has started giving point to countries.
Nah the older system is more tense because any country could be called out at any time, but in the new system everyone sits back until it's their turn.
In this system we wouldn't be sure who will win to the last moment, because when I heard that Ukraine received more than 400 points it was obvious that they have just won, and watching Sweden, Spain, and UK receiving their points wasn't emotional at all
This system not better, because in the last moment you know that you definitely have more points than other 24 countries
@@user-zm1yb1or2e But we still wouldn't know if thay country has won. They could be in first by only 1 point difference while they didn't have many jury votes, or at least not enough jury votes. The suspense would be there until the last points were announced
For normal contests like 2019 or 2021 it makes the suspense last until the very last second, obviously no suspense was there for 2022, we’ve known it for 3 months and I don’t know why I even bothered hoping for Ukraine not to win because literally this year was just shitty (the contest was absolutely awesome, but the only fact that they won ruined it all)
@@thisbabyslays actually you can already know the final result, under every type of voting announce system, as soon as the second last country is announced, since there's a grand total of 116*n (n equals the number of countries voting) points to be assigned, you can just subtract all the points already assigned and see the final result
@@marcodamasio Yes but i'm not gonna do the math while watching the televotes. I'm too stressed at that point, i couldn't even put 2 & 2 together
This is the only year that this system would be more interesting. I surely prefer the one we use since 2019 though
I still prefer the way it's presenting here, it's more stressful imo
The fact that Moldova is higher in televote then Spain … gold! 😂
Lmao imagine 💀
Spain song was uhh FIREEEEEEE 🔥🔥❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤🇪🇸
Even Serbia was close to Spain with televote. I think there was like 3 point difference.
@@aleksaranitovic You do not take into account the fact that Serbia receives the maximum points from their neighbors, plus the diaspora of Serbia and Moldova/Romania
I loooooved that hahahaha
@@dabrat4149 almost everyone have neighboring countries, the fact is that In Corpore Sano was smash hit on Balkans and through out Europe. But in the end you're also wrong, cause Serbia didn't receive points from only 2 countries in televote.
Lithuania was so underrated by the juries like how are y’all about to give Sentimentai 35 points?
Old system is more interesting in this year
BITI ZDRAVA💪🏼
Thank for video, that's interesting ;)
This old system will be way emotional this year.
I believe this system to be better somehow. The one that is now is just utter chaos; you have NO idea what the placements for the televote are.
exactly, like Norway in 2019 got no recognition as a televote winner
You don't need to know, really
Pretty sure that's why many people prefer the new system tbh 😂
LOVE ❤ TIRANA
Switch Azerbaijan, Belgium and Switzerland’s jury points with Lithuania, Estonia and Poland’s jury points and I actually would’ve been kinda satisfied with the jury vote
You ought to start counting votes with the country with the lowest jury total score, and work your way upwards.
scores are given from low to high
I like the new system way better especually for other years
Bring this voting announcement back!!
Who program you use
A l b a n i a ❤ TITAN
I wonder what the results would have been using the even older system, pre 2016 where the jury and tele votes weren't separate
I agree, I didn't like the voting system before 2016.
@@manujelly3156 Same, I like that we can see the jury and public separate
I mean this isn't really a good system but I calculated it anyway
the voting is actually quite interesting, with Ukraine, Spain and Sweden all receiving points from 37 countries, and it's quite close until about the 30th country
here are the totals
341 Ukraine
294 Spain
264 United Kingdom
246 Sweden
177 Serbia
144 Italy
104 Norway
101 Moldova
95 Netherlands
94 Portugal
85 Estonia
76 Poland
68 Greece
66 Lithuania
38 Armenia
29 Romania
27 Australia
23 Belgium
22 Finland
7 Iceland
6 France
5 Switzerland
5 Azerbaijan
3 Germany
0 Czech Republic
average of jury ranking and televote ranking for most countries (system used from 2013 to 2015)
only televoting for the countries that didn't have a valid jury result
substitute result for san marino, as they had neither a valid jury result nor a televote result (with the current rules except i calculate it from the combined results)
@@aela3533 Ooh, well done! That's interesting, no drastic changes then in regards to the top 5 😅 I wondered if it would have been very different. Thanks for working out and sharing 🙂
With 0 points, it is Switzerland.
Me waiting for this year’s version of this
Cooming soon...
@@escvalerio 💖💖💖
how do u make this animations?
PowerPoint - morphing transition
@@escvalerio ok, thanks
how did u make this?

Moldova killing the televote reminds me of Poland in 2016...
With 0 points, it is Switzerland.
With 2 points, it is Australia.
With 3 points, it is Azerbaijan.
With 5 points, it is Czech Republic.
With the same amount of 5 points, it is Belgium.
With 6 points, it is Germany.
With 8 points, it is France.
With 10 points, it is Iceland.
With 21 points, it is Armenia.
With 26 points, it is Finland.
With 36 points, it is Portugal.
With 42 points, it is The Netherlands.
With 53 points, it is Romania.
With 57 points, it is Greece.
With 93 points, it is Lithuania.
I'm in love with Sam Ryder. He had to win! ❤❤❤
Sweden compared to Ukraine, was 1 point closer.
They just wanted to Hold them Closer
With 6 points, it is Germany.
You must be very young to call this "old system"
Tutorial
Wait? What is the difference in the system? I thought they only changed it once...
Its system been 2016-2018. Now TV points said from last jury place to first. But 2016-2018 said from last tv place to first
@@hiteen7004 Ooohh thank you! I understand now!
But wait .. I would say hat that would hardly make a difference..?
@@C-handle-r More intrigue because when bottom jury country gey 200+ ponits, for example, Moldova or Norway 2019. We don't know Have country who get more or no.
ukraine was obviously vote because of you know why
The most unfair victory in the history of the competition
How
I agree
Azerbaijan got very few points
I mean I prefer new sistem, as a Spanish, it would have been a double shot from UK surpassing with 7 points and then the pity win
this year was a joke
This is probably the one year where getting rid of the televote altogether would've been more interesting.
Bring the old system back please. So tired of corrupt and biased jury.
Back to corrupt televoting alone, say hello to 12 points from all neighbouring countries. No. I'm from Belgium, and we were continuously screwed, because we didn't have to expect 10 or 12 points from France, Germany or the Netherlands.
I think the mixed results from juries and televoting is the best.
One word... Diaspora! I really hate the televote, think that it has ruined the show.
Then we need some new rules for judge voting. It is more biased and corrupt than televoting. Some countries keep buying or negotiating on points.
@@artsrunkhangeldyan83 Of course, these practices should be banned. But normally, the judges scores should be OK, since there are 5 or 6 jury members for each country.
Maybe there should be a different selection of the judges.
We had only televoting and we saw how it turned out, with mediocre or bad songs being high just because they had a big diaspora while countries with small disspora didn't have a chance at all, like debut of San Marino being last in semi, while being one of their best entries and overall a good song.
Eurovisión no thanks 🤮👎
Ofc, ucrein won because of their "good singers" and not external factors😂
