- Felt great to just fold the Samebike LO26 version 2 in half, throw it in the boot and head out into the countryside for a ride. Up hill and down vale around part of the beautiful Meon Valley in Hampshire. This is what I bought this bike for. For days out like this.
Nice video. Bought the same one. But the 750w version. As you. I love it. I'm 78. I joined a singles club for Campers last yr. As my wife passed away 2yrs ago. We had a caravan on a seasonal pitch for 12yrs in the peak district. But no longer enjoyed it on my own. So bought a van & converted to Campervan. Which I love. Nearly everyone in the club has an ebike. So I needed to get one.
I noticed you didn't talk at all about the throttle. Don't you use it.
I rarely use the throttle. Sometimes on the way to work in the evening through an industrial estate I might open up with it. But I love my samebike. It’s been great using it through the summer.
Hi Rob I've just bought the lo26ii from elfobike for £799 delivered. AWESOME
Nice one mate. I’m loving it.
Hello. I've had this bike for some time, it's configured a little differently ;) it's actually LO26 II (second generation), i.e. a color display, a 750 W engine and, surprisingly, spoke wheels with a 2.35-wide tire. Everything you say about this bike, I confirm, it is an off-road beast. My favorite areas on which I love to ride are forest roads and off-road trails. Despite its weight, the bike is very agile in the field, climbing hills is very easy thanks to the power steering. With my driving style, I travel from 150 km to 200 km on one battery, which is a long range that can only be achieved when I choose the size of the sprocket to suit the speed and appropriate support. It's not me who has to support the engine, the engine has to help me ;) The landscape outside the city in your country is almost identical to mine ;) Greetings from Poland.
Thank you for the comment. I love my samebike. Mines a 500w but it’s been amazing. I ride it everywhere. To work and for fun around town. It’s effortless to ride. ATB.

I gave up the car (an English car, by the way ;)) for a bike a long time ago ;) I go to work by bike, of course, it's close, only 9 km, I don't know what it will be like in winter, because winters in Poland can be frosty. How did you deal with the squeaky rear suspension? ;) I assume that, like me, I listen to them from time to time ;)
@ the rear suspension used to squeak in the beginning but it’s stopped now. I’ve got new tyres and handle bar stem since I bought the bike.
@@robtherover ,I use silicone grease from time to time, I also raised the handlebar a little higher ;) A lot of people complain about the original tires, I won't replace them, in my opinion they are very good for grass and gravel paths, they are very noisy on asphalt but I don't care it doesn't bother me ;) If I were to replace something in it now, it would be the front wishbone, it only picks up large bumps, it's too hard for me.
Hi Rob, good ride.
Cheers mate. I'm looking forward to getting out on it this summer. I do need the exercise.
Looks like a really practical folding Ebike that Rob and a nice ride too:)
Thanks Sandy. It's going to be fun getting out and about on it this summer. I've been enjoying your cycle, e-bike and motorcycling videos for a good few years now. All the best to you.
@@robtherover Did you get the 750 watt version? They advertise it as 10.4AH battery but the 750w has 12.5AH.
@@Neilukuk hi Neil. No this is 500 watts. It’s perfect for me. I’m really enjoying it.
Hi Rob I've just had my first ride out today on lo26ii done 14 mile battery still on 48v BUT I've gotta change that saddle my arse is in tatters after that😢 so it's a new saddle for me. 🤣 the bike it's self is amazing.
Nice one. Yeah that saddle is an arse grinder. It’s great isn’t it? Got my next excursion planned, and I can’t wait.
Great video Rob, where did you buy your bike from ? Im in Andover and no where around here stocks them let alone some where I can test ride one before I buy ?
What is customer service like when things go wrong ?
Thanks Clive
Cheers mate. Bought it off Amazon. I haven’t had any problems with it but if you check out ‘bubbles way’ on CZcams he had a problem with his Samebike. Apparently they were pretty good at replacing the defective part.
What top speed you do get on pure electric mode on 750w unlocked guys ?
Mine is a 500w and I can get 20mph. I am 17stone so that might make a difference.
What's your best mileage on peddle assit.
I did a video where I rode around my city and also Langston harbour on peddle assist 3, taking it nice and easy. Roughly 16 miles on each trip. Did it easy.
😊
Cheers my friend.
