As of June 10, 2024, 8,046 horses have been shipped to Mexico for slaughter, according to the USDA report.
We are not only working to educate the general public that this happening, but are helping save horses NOW who are in the slaughter pipeline.

TAKE ACTION TO END HORSE SLAUGHTER
Visit: www.safe-act.org and click on WRITE CONGRESS tab to tell them to pass the Save America’s Forgotten Equines (SAFE) Act (H.R. 3475 and S. 2037), which is a bipartisan bill that permanently bans horse slaughter in the United States and prohibits the exportation of horses for slaughter.
