The season itself takes place in 2025 (though the Omega & Nova Rangers did travel back in time like the Time Force Rangers did). The only time S.P.D takes place in the year it was filmed (2005) is during the Dino Thunder team up in 'History' as 'Wormhole' took place during 2004 (during the events of the season Dino Thunder)

Same here!!! I am currently rewatching the season with my friend. It's so good. It is well written especially with the rangers. S.P.D. is definitely in my top five seasons of Power Rangers.
