- In this video, I have described that how car hunts that were used to be more fun and free way to unlock cars in Asphalt 9 Legends, has been manipulated by the Gameloft behind their agenda of monetary gains. In this video, I have explained three tactics used by gameloft and the possible ways that how car hunts can be made better.

There's a very easy way to fix this. Do not spend money on the game. The fewer their profits, the more they'll listen. Keep in mind that gameloft is a company, and what does a company want? More money.
I swear, we could've easily gotten rid of the fuel system immediately right after launch if we had yelled loud enough. Just look at the key cars, for god sake! Who in this community thought this was acceptable?
Every problem in the game imaginable could've been fixed if we held them by the throat, but asphalt 9 players still spend after every update. What makes it even worse is that they don't have a competitor, so the less likely they'll listen.
We kept letting them screw us in the ass every year, and we sat there and wondered, "Why?"
You want this game fixed? Pay 50% less compared to last year and see what happens.

The most annoying thing is that the devs are still saying it’s possible to max cars from car hunt f2p. No it’s not. It used to be possible, but not now.

It still is possible, but you need to save some tokens for ticket refills. That being said tho, car hunts in general are so grindy

@@PaleoArchives usually what I do is spend ticket refills on cars that are really good and skip the bad ones. For example, I spent tokens on ticket refills on the 004C since that was a really good D Class car where as skipped the Arash AF8 since that was a bad car
@@PaleoArchiveschiron is a legend store car, you can get it from LS, but sure if you want to get faster you can open packs when the SE is getting rerun, spend some thousand refills for CH is much better than open packs cause it'll be helping to increase the garage level point, up to you tho

So yeah eventually old player will have most of the cars available on hunts maxed.

LOL, I also started playing 4 years ago. It wasn't. I was already playing NFS NL at the same time and A9 was already back then objectively much more P2W than NFS NL. Although I enjoy A9 a lot there were the same mechanisms back then as now, I would hardly call it a "fair game" back then.
Of course they made stuff worse (e.g. LP from 8 to 4 weeks, introduced new passes, nerfed MP rewards, made Career harder and then there was the Raging Bull Season...) but they also made (often small, but still) improvements (e.g. car hunts 8 days, removed some car requirements in Career like ZR1 and Tuatara, added events like Starway). In general the game has become more P2W, but it's a process we can expect from GL and won't change with Unite (albeit maybe in the beginning they might be a bit more generous to lure in new players 🤣).

For me I don’t have either car so I am currently grinding. Also, are the cars from the car hunt useless or is the car hunt itself useless cause you alr unlocked them?
Car hunt as f2p are extremely grinding. They are useful but only if you managed to do like thousands of races in 6 or so days.
GL sometimes offers good drop rates for car hunts (Ultimate RS). The worst car hunt drop rate in my 6 yrs of A9 would be Kepler Motion. Donkervoort uses the same Tuscany track as Kepler so I decided to put all my effort into De Tomaso P900 instead. Almost 3* without spending any money or tokens.

Despite that fact this is obviously a P2W game and GL always tries to milk it out more. That said, the core situation for Car Hunts is pretty much unchanged for at least 4 years (since I started playing May 2020).
The drop rate is around 8% (which I have stats for to prove). Mind that on a day by day basis drop rates vary more (~5-11%) and on a total hunt can be between 7-9%, this can all be explained by the natural phenomenon of probability. So if you do enough races you can pretty much predict how much races you have to do.
There have been some changes over the years: they added legendary hunts (for LP owners only) and key hunts. Also they added 1 day to the hunt a few years ago. In general the LP hunts later become free for all hunts. Also they have added more cars over the years that aren't in the Legend Store while some Legend Store cars that had hunts previously didn't get a hunt for a long time. The also added the Special Hunt but I would treat that as a different type of event all together.
Also they have the habit sometimes of doing 2 hunts at the same time (not counting the 1 day overlap) which can be pretty annoying if they're both hard to get/key cars.
As for the the infinity aspect: I've only done hunts with infinite races and I don't think it really matters. You need to hundreds of races to max out a car from scratch anyway. Plus hunts are ideally for grinding because you can do them so mindlessly.
Now for the pass: from a business point of view this was a smart move. The pass is not insanely expensive, at least compared to most other offers, and enables you to finish a hunt in 2-3 days if you grind enough. But in most cases, if you grind enough, you don't need it.
Personally I think hunts should be designed that you don't have to grind as much as you now to max out a car. You should be able to max out a car in a week with maybe 1-2h of playing instead of 4-6h currently (during the day). It's not a bad concept, but it's time consuming.

I love to play it, I love the fact I managed to get a really decent garage in 4 years (221 cars and will add 2 more this week: V12 Vantage from GP and Aurora Tur from both SE's + packs), but I hate the fact GL makes it so P2W and never ceases to make it worse, sometimes with small things, sometimes. And when they do stuff (accidentily?) good like Season Tokens they revert it when it's not making them enough profit 🤣.

Even with the daily pass the drop rates are not that good. I remember when the daily pass was introduced, I used it to farm Victor bps and it got maxed from 0 within 2 days. Now I need 4 days or more to max a freaking C class. I mean, 25-30 bps per 50 races was not so bad, but it definitely not as good as ut used to be

Well my best drop rates in Car hunts was 600LT and Panamera. I could max them without daily pass but yes was stressful trying to connect every 1:30hrs .
Now Gameloft disguises the good hunts with a small problem, for example: The 600LT hunt I think is among the best. Sopresa also has another fighter but this time it's special and it's the Zonda R honestly if you didn't have a pass you were destined to choose only one. Personally I opened packs with ST in the Phonk season and I got quite a few Zonda R plans and knowing that it came as a hunt I had no problem.
Gameloft creates problems in the fighters so that you are forced to buy the pass like lowering the drop rate and things like that.
Now I don't consider some hunts to be a waste since they can help new players, I am aware of that and it's good at the end of the day when hunts come for cars that I already own like the 599 or cars that are really only for collection and you get in game envelopes it allows me to rest from the game and sometimes enter tops of the daily events.
Another horrible thing would be the riots, for it is very annoying and frustrates me that they ask for 3 tickets for each race and honestly it becomes very complicated and more when there are other car hunts that you have to do, which limits you to practice little, for example in the Panamera riot I suffered a lot because it was already complicated some parts of the map and practice little made it complicated. The times I didn't suffer in riots was because I already had certain epics and the only time I played well was in the 600LT riot a friend of mine let me practice in his account since he had bought the pass and oh surprise as I never bought a pass I saw that to play the riots they only asked for a ticket. In short Gameloft only seeks to complicate the hunts and events so that you are forced to buy their passes, I see nothing wrong with investing in the game the bad thing is when the company wants to make you spend money aggressively.

I unlocked tomaso and achieved 3 stars in two days of game, think won't be a problem take it to 5 stars, still if i want to avoid the farm can just buy cards and is done, most old players already save +50 k blue tokens, enough to unlock most cars.

Atleast they should extend the duration of car hunts from 7 days to like 12-14 days.
They released daily event pass to upsell you towards buy it urgently. If they extend the length of the event then no one will prefer buying daily event pass
tbh the first car hunt of mine and the ONLY car hunt i ever succeeded in was H2 speed back in 2020-2021ish,was only a starter at the time so ofc,h2 speed,how can i ignore,the drop rate on it was pretty good but then slowly even a class D car aint so easy anymore.

@@ENEXEI_The_Goat Keep in mind that rewards are RANDOM. You just got lucky to unlock the car, for others it is hard(most of the player base). If drop rates are bad, it is BAD.

only thing i recommend is buying those cars from the card packs from those special events (bee day for example) as they get some great cars to unlock. car hunts have gotten worser and grindy.

I dunno if it relate to you, for me it was veneno event, even i can do only stage 1&2 , asterion & aventador svj, the rate no so bad , also doing gacha until i got 2 star almost 3 , the rate not so bad too. Thats my experience
In those days when veneno event was i also maxed out couple of cars like aventador sv, apollo n and 7 to 8 cars of same rank but in those days you can max a car in a car hunt. These days you can't even unlock it no matter how hard you try

Special hunts are the only car hunts that are good even though it is grindy but it has good droprates and it has cheap token required compared to normal car hunts

Yes and i really wish i could show you screenshot of it. Back in 2020, i maxed out cars like aventador sv apollo n grandsport scg and pinninfirina. The hunts were comprised of two or three cards and each card had fixrd races like 200 or 300 so in this way, all cards combined for these 200 or 300 races you will receive 900 or 600 rewards and yeah even if you start from scratch, you can max the cars, like i mentioned jaw dropping drop rates but then they changed it yo infinite races and drastically low drop rates, and then in 2022 daily event pass was introduced. They first created the problem and then sold you the solution

nah dude ur tripping these are some really good hunts especially these 2 seasons theyve been crazy with the hunts, for example we are getting panamera and acura gt3 evo back-to back, and now we are this new class c car which is honestly pretty good, and next week we are getting the senna gtr in a hunt, so nah hunts are really good rn stop whining😪 edit: before you try and smoke me in the replies i still think the hunts nowadays are worse than before definitely, and i do miss the old car hunt system ngl
It is possible to unlock and max cars in car hunts for free (at the expense of tokens, time and effort) I did it back in the day. But right now Gameloft is using a strategy to spend money on the daily event pass: releasing car hunts for cars where people mostly don't own (no matter if they are useful or not) releasing two or three at a time. So it is getting harder because of so many releases. Yes it sucks at so many aspects to the point people have to aim to one car hunt if they don't have much time to play or just sinply let it be. My advice is since those cars had car hunt they will come back at some point in the future so don't give up.
The worst car hunt we've got so far was the Icona Vulcano Titanium (the first one) people who are in the game since global launch know why. Hands down worst drop rate ever.
I didn't get to experience the icona hunt but with so much Hunts they are abusing the system and forcing you to spend money on the game

I remember car hunts from a8, where there is two ways: or you pay money and get your car, or you doing tasks for car hunt points to win a car, and that was awesome, they gave me free cars from D to S class, like McLaren Senna, Lamborghini Sian, Drako GTE, Torino Design, Lotus...evigna? (Cant remember its name, sorry)
Now I see today's car hunt: the only free cars I can get is only D class (mostly I saw free DS E-Tense) and of course a real good car is for money

Its horrible. Unless you grind tokens since 500 BC, you cant max the cars from car hunts while being f2p user.
I remember, long time ago, maxing the Vette Grand Sport and the Apollo N when their first car hunts were up some years ago. Now, I went back to the game because I missed it and oh boy, what a piece of shit. I did the 599xx car hunt and, PLAYING THE WHOLE WEEK and even watching commercials to get more tickets, I didnt get the key, I needed 15 more bps to max the car. What you have to do to not grind like a freaking monkey? Buy the car pass. Its unbelievable how they managed to create a problem and then sell the solution, its, no jokes, a monopoly in a freaking phone game lmao. I tried again with the P900 and well... I played around 80 races in a day and only got 3bps HAHAHA. This is absolutely dogshit and I hope the game gets better, because Grindloft really messed a lot this game. I think everybody has a life and also hobbies that are not phone/Asphalt related, plus... DUDE, they try to sell you keys/car packs for the price of a freaking AAA game.
Im done with this game, really. I liked it on the release and enjoyed it while it was good, but now, unless you grind and play 24/7 or pay for the season pass, its over. I dont find anything fun on repeating the same race over and over for weeks just to get ONE car. I prefer the Grand Prix, but dude, they even managed to fuck that too. Its full of people that invest enough to put their cars at 3 stars. I did it for the Lambo and won the GP with a lot of people behind with 3 stars too, but with the horrible Aston, nope. And guess what, I got P5 on split 2, 1 star, behind the others who put the car at 3 stars. Nicely done, grindloft.

Asphalt 9 is a fun game, until gameloft made a blueprint system that hold the fun because how grindy it is to get a single car.

A9 china has its problem that reward randomization is a lot unfair but it is somewhat friendly from f2p at least generous than global version

I wont say that it is easy but if you are just strong enough to ignore p2w and ready to grab any f2p opportunity then i think you should continue cause i am myself doing the same, with consistency i unlocked 104 cars

the drops for DeTomaso P900, are good, and i have been able to star it to 3* in 3 days (i don't have a daily event pass)
also, 300 to 400 races are enough to max a car in a car hunt (without daily event pass)
the thing is since it is difficult to grind, therefore it is bad.

Bro I am all play no pay only since release, I have 60 cars, just finally got the VLForce 10 a month ago lol I STILL need the Cien, Nissan Evo, Bentley Mullinar to complete seasons which are about 75% Corvette Grand Sport is still the best car in the game. I don't need stats I pay for, I only need stats I PLAY for so GaeLoft (sp?) gets ZERO of my money. I'm happy. Money stats are fake stats.
