- In this video I visit the ruins of Ducketts Grove mansion in Co. Carlow, Ireland. I explore some of the best compositions for photography and take a brief look into the history of this once magnificent estate.

Well done Damien. Great job. Fortune favours the brave and getting that burst of sun at the end really enhanced the photos and the drone footage as well as adding an extra dynamic to the vlog. F

Another great job with great advice .. the sun popping out at the end was ideal .. loved the rape seed shot !!
Much appreciated Darren, thank you very much! Let hope the value of rapeseed goes up so we see some more of it :-)!
Just saw this one now. I've been there, it's not too far from Newbridge in Kildare (where I live)
As you said, it's tricky to get to. It's really an evening job better in spring ant autumn
You've got some striking shots here, especially the eerie one with the crows and ominous sky.
The one framed with the trees works well also.
I believe that it's not advisable to comtinuously grow Rape seed as it harms the nutritional composition of the soil
So it might'nt be possible to repeat that shot? I had one but can't find it 😱
I love your Videos. You Inform, advise and take the shot, without lecturing 📷👍
Thanks very much Eltin, makes sense about the Rapeseed! Thank you very much for watching and your kind comments!
Well done sharing to my page
Thank you very much Anthony, appreciate that!
Do you know if the graves of the ducketts can be visited thanks.
Hi there, I'm sorry, I have no idea, there's no obvious graveyard near the house
