You’re so right the volume of recommendations and the experience of the YTer with the products might just be one time for a video integration… as we know 💁🏻♀️. Even things I’ve loved and used over and over yet people have shared haven’t worked for them (makeup, bags, shoes), it’s like anything just research and hope for the best 🤣

the tip of looking at who is depending on YT for income is very useful. i’ve made a couple of disappointing purchases recommended by such influencers and since then been very careful to avoid these things. some people would market anything.
Yes they really will, I have seen some strange things promoted.
I have recently been influenced (Amber Ashleigh) to buy the Chanel Chance, limited edition, mini hand cream set and they smell beautiful… but it’s a very thin formula and it isn’t particularly moisturising. If the regular one is like that, I’m not surprised you didn’t repurchase! On the plus side, you and Ada Solly aided my purchase of the Alma BB which I love. 😊

Laroch-Posay double repair moisturizer w/SPF 30 doesn’t work for me at all because it’s piling.
What influencers wear in a mod shot is not always the same as in their links. I can’t believe they would be wearing 100% polyester clothes while owning 10 Birkins and Kelly’s. I am yet to find one piece of clothing ( made from natural fibers and good quality) that I would buy from these links.
Glad to save you money! Pilling is the worst with sunscreen, I have had that happen while out and had no idea I had white streaks everywhere! I haven't tried the double repair one just the clear skin one and it doesn't do that, but my fave is the Cetaphil. Ooooh I didn't know they wore different clothes in mod shots vs the links! That's not cool and I agree on the polyester.

Love the video and your honesty. I’m an LV girl all the way and hobo bags are my favorite. With all the unboxings, I just knew the LV Loop Hobo was my bag! Well, it wasn’t. Ordered it on line, received it, tried it on, and no, not for me. Took it back to the store the next day. Have tried it on in stores several times since, but can’t make it work for me.

I find this type of videos very helpful. I have really enjoyed the content on your latest videos. I absolutely love Dr. Dray as well. I have been influenced to try various skin care products by her. I've been influenced to buy a several things thru CZcams. I think most of my experiences have been positive, but I have learned to wait a while before making any decisions, to do my own research on the products, and to be honest with myself on how these things may fit into my current life style. I have noticed that there are many items (especially handbags) that if I wait until the hype is over to purchase it, my interest wears off. The one thing that I know for sure that I was influenced to buy, and that I quickly learned that it did not work for me was the mini bag trend.

Oh Melinda the things I’ve been influenced to buy 😂😂. I was influenced to buy that Chanel lotion and I did not like it at all but I purchased the Dior one and I love it. I use that tarte brush and it’s the only one I use now. It’s soooo good. Your foundation just looks amazing using that brush in my opinion. You influenced me to finally get the loop bag. I’ve seen so many unbox it and I was hesitant but liked it. Then you purchased it and I know you’re a little picky and honest so when you said you love it I knew then it was a good bag ❤❤. Sometimes being influenced is good but sometimes not 😬😬.

We have a lot of the same bags😂 so far this year you influenced me to buy the pink Lady Dior & I also just bought the Gucci bag you just shared. Haven’t used it yet but I’m sure I’ll love it. Wow I’m so surprised you hate the mini rectangle. I have a few but my favourite is black caviar with edge stitching & silver hardware. I have to say it’s one of my favourite bags. I’m 5’8” so it’s not often a bag is long enough for me to wear crossbody, so I think that’s one of the reasons I love them so much.

I’m not easily influenced either but I did fall victim to the LV monogram 6 ring key holder. I hate it! It won’t close with my regular keys and the Porsche key(s) and I’m not about to leave it hanging out the top. I do however love my LV Empreinte key pouch. I use it as a wallet and the keys don’t fit in it either 🤣 but I like them all dangling on the outside and I could care less that their loose in my handbag. Fun video btw. 🙂

OMG, the smelly jeans. I had a sweater like that - washed it twice & could not get the chemical smell out. It went in the dumpster.
I was influenced to by you to buy Feetures socks. I had the same issue with Adidas slipping off my heels & those socks fixed them.

Every time I see cute coloured rodeos I want one … but I’m not sure they would suit my style. A good reminder for me to be cautious when considering those (and probably best to avoid purchasing online if I don’t know how it will work in person). i used the cetaphil spf moisturizer however my eyes sweat and then it makes my eyes tear up. i try to pat very little over my eyelids but after 8hrs or more it still happens. does the same happen to you? or do you not put it on your eyelids?
I have never put sunscreen on my eyelids. My skin is so sensitive I think that would sting. I always wear sunglasses at all times outside unless it is raining and the added benefit to that is I have zero macular degeneration too!

I don't think that would be very nice of me. She has made some good recommendations in the past that I loved but I lost trust. Just stay away from Halara jeans and do your research on if things can be returned easily or not. I wish I did!
