Thank you so much. Just today I decided this would be something I could learn and do. But I don't have much to spend. Your tips just make sense to me and it is true you only need some of the tools. I will check your videos on that. I did a lot of colouring mandalas but am left, after brilliant colouring etc, with just pretty coloured paper on black lines. I am thinking once I learn the skill, to do a take on a 1965 painting of sunrise by Joe Parker the great visionary artist. Again, thanks.

Here is my handy hint - If you are a bit shaky handed, or clumsy (like me), let each round of dots dry before going on to the next colour. You could work on a few projects at once, so you can keep dotting as stuff is drying. For big projects, you may find that the start of a round of dots have dried by the time you come back around to them anyway!

@@mansipatel3864 Have you tried using a multi purpose sealer first or mixed in with your base coat, check out Deco Art Multi purpose sealer. Alternatively I use a multi surface paint as my base color. If you are using a seasoned hard wood, it shouldn't need sealing. Soft woods, it would pay to seal. Just like some vloggers now seal their rocks with resin first to give them a smoother surface.
After you complete your project and drying it completely, are you sealing your work? There are so many wonderful You Tube Vloggers who are extremely talented Dot Artist, to learn from.
