06:08 - My S24 Ultra experience
Have you made this switch? What did you miss from the iPhone?
I do, but im still using my i15 for work, and as 2ndary phone😊for full story u can read my comment❤
Well back when I was rocking an iPhone 11 Pro max I switched to the One Plus.... and the letdown was the SOFTWARE not the hardware. I got tired after 6 months of random apps not working or the need to reboot the phone to connect with my car Android car whatever.
I pre ordered the s24ultra and completely regret it. I'm wanting to sell the samsung and go back to an iphone. The thing that really irritates me is the corners! Why on earth a phone this size has sharp squared off corners is beyond me. Can't even get it in and out of pockets easily. It's just become.a massive pain to use this phone. If you know anyone who would want to trade an immaculate s24 ultra in titanium grey 512gb for an iphone 15 pro max let me know. 😊
By the way, nice video. 👍🏻
I did the switch last year and it was not a big Deal. I am lucky using the S24 Ultra now! And you are right: using other Devices not belonging to the ecosystem is much easier now.
Apple Watch and Apple Pay.
Switched to S24 U, sold my IPhone 15 Pro Max and my Apple Watch Ultra. Not missing them one bit.
Which watch did you go for? I've still got my watch ultra so need a decent replacement. Just switched from the 15pro max too!
@@UKL3G3NDZX still looking at options for that piece. Was leaning towards the galaxy watch 6 classic but I read that the 7 series should be out soon. Debating if I wanna hold off till then.
Ah that's good to know. Was looking at Garmin as well but think that's overkill. I'd want something big again because I like the wise of the apple watch ultra. That's been the hardest bit of the switch
@@UKL3G3NDZX yes! Between the build quality and batt life it's a hard choice! I will prob hold till the galaxy watch 7 series and then decide after the release.
@orlandoj.sotozeno1593 got my S24 Ultra with a promotion freebies. I got a free Watch 6 and Buds 2 pro.
Watch 6 is really amazing and faster than the Watch 5. Watch 7, on the other hand, will be released sometime in August or September at the same time they release the fold phone.
S-pen is great for photo editing. It gives you a way to be really precise when selecting objects to edit, erase, move or mask.
and for copying text from protected texts
@@amirsaver Copying text with smart select is honestly the most common reason I use mine for.
The s-pen is so good when it comes to editing your pictures and videos and also signing documents when needed.
I changed this year from iPhone 13 Pro to S24 Ultra, loving it, haven't really missed much, and loving the device, Android is so useful or can be simple like iOS too. Been an iPhone user since 4s, not sure if I will ever go back at this point.
Tell your iPhone friends
Do you have Macbook, IPad and Apple TV also. That is my problem. I have alot o products in the Apple Ecosystem but, wan't to switch to S24 Ultra.
Video is super crispy, S-pen is for granular tasks, notes, editing, photo capture, of course drawing/ sketching. It's there for convenience not for everyday usage unless you become addicted to it like I am with my tab, I actually use the tab pen on both devices more so.
As someone who has a Samsung phone and an iPad and a Mac (since 2020), I simply don’t understand all this brand competition that marketing has taught people that it’s one brand of device or the other. I couldn’t give a Flying F if you’re Apple one minute, Android this minute, next generation Samsung Fold in July, possibly next generation Pixel, and then iPhone16 in October… you’re a tech reviewer, after all. But many commentators seem to have their knickers in a twist over the thought😆. But I do appreciate your efforts to give it a really good go. Because most Apple fan-boys who review Android phones are laughably absurd because unless you spend at least 3 months to work out an Android phone properly without having an iPhone on standby in your back pocket if you’re balls deep in the Apple ecosystem, you’re not giving yourself the chance to work out all the things and new ideas (end of rant😆).
The reality is, you can still stay in the Apple ecosystem when you get a Samsung phone. I wasted a lot of time thinking I had to leave everything Apple when I had Multiplatform devices, and I wasted a lot of time experimenting with third party apps… but at the end of the day, keep your favourite Apple apps, and it’s all about Syncing.
Simply back up your Samsung photos and Files to Google Drive, and on your Apple devices download Google 1 to sync iOS photos to Google photos as well as Apple calendar to Google calendar - and adding Google drive to your Apple devices. The hardest thing for me when I left iOS for Samsung a few years ago, while still having an iPad and Mac, was trying to find things to replace Apple apps that I was used to, and loved! I eventually realised that I didn’t have to. I’m still in the Apple ecosystem, but I’m also in the Google ecosystem and the Microsoft ecosystem and a lot of third parties. Syncing iOS photos to Google photos, and syncing iOS calendar to Google calendar was a game changer. I eventually, over time, moved to other apps. It takes time to forget how we used to do things, and to learn new ways that work and link devices together. I still use iCloud, plus Google Drive, and simple drag and drop files between each other on my Mac. Downloads on my Samsung phone are backed up to Google Drive, meaning I can access them on my Mac and my iPad. Same with photos and video. Your iPad is key here. Bring up a photo or video via Google photos (that you’ve taken on Android phone, that Samsung photos has backed up to Google Photos) on your iPad, and then “save to device”. It is now in iOS photos. You can now access via Apple photos on your Mac. Likewise, your entire iOS photo and video history is now accessible on Google photos on the Samsung phone.
Even if I went back to iPhone with the new generation in October, I’ll still continue syncing so that I can continue to have the freedom to change devices in the future. Good luck with your experimenting, I’ll still be here for your next one😊
I went from the iPhone 14 Pro to the Samsung S23 Ultra last year and I love it. I’ve had an iPhone since the 4. Change is good.
Gotta agree. Change is good! I started from first iPhone and now have s24 ultra. iPhone is my secondary phone. And I DO NOT miss using it as main device AT ALL
It's nice to see people finally understand
Here’s a thought. Do a video of you resetting your iPhone and Apple Watch Ultra and actually selling it to someone and shipping it off. Try not to buy it again for 3 months. That would be way more impressive than just putting your SIM card in the Galaxy
Exactly. I know a few people who switch from 15 pro max to S24 ultra, after a few weeks they sold their S24 ultras and went back to iPhone 15 pro max 😄😅
It happen to me several times trough out the saga of Ultras, every time I said this time the Ultra is my choice and after two weeks go back to Apple. A week a go I bought the S24 Ultra and now it’s for sale. iPhone is the best! 😊
@@LuisGGomezPhoto That’s your opinion and it’s subjective, not a fact.
@@LuisGGomezPhoto yes, they just work, especially if you have friends and family with iPhones, best to stay on the same brand of phone, for the best experience 👍🏻
@LuisGGomezPhoto what's best is what you like more and feel comfortable using over years of use . That's subjective to the buyers preferences it's not fact.
Hey Mark, I was wondering, what would you say is the best small phone one could buy with the best cameras that you can get with that size. I like the Samsung s24 but it’s a little bit big
Just ordered my s24 Ultra yesterday + Watch 6 Classic. Coming from iPhone 15 Pro + Watch Ultra. Not confident about it yet, have tried to switch before and couldn't - so we'll see how it goes. Love your videos Mark!
As long as you don’t want the Samsung watch for health and fitness you will be fine with the switch
Switched from iPhone 14 Pro Max and Apple Watch Ultra 2 to S24 Ultra + Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. You won't regret the phone ... it's better than the iPhone in every possible way. The watch though... that's another story altogether 😅
Hi, I have both phones & both watches you have mentioned, I prefer 15pro max & ultra watch as it’s just for simplicity & quicker usage.
@@shakz7074 Yeah I switched back to the Apple products after about a day. Couldn't blow up my entire workflow and life to gain essentially nothing meaningful from Android (queue the comments lol)
@shakz7074 I agree about the simplicity, and most apps are just better on the iPhone as it takes less resources to support them, so devs can focus on quality. However the iPhone becomes boring pretty quickly. You can't change launcher, you can't change icon packs unless each icon is a bookmark (and then you can't get notification bubbles). Not to mention notification management, that's stupidly bad on the iPhone, worse audio quality through BT as Apple for some weird reason chose to stick with AAC rather than something like aptX, AND the worst thing of all ... Apple doesn't give any of their 1st party apps any love ... the mail app interface hasn't changed since ios 14, the calendar app does not integrate reminders and it's widget is not even interactive (which Apple touted as the stand out feature in IOS 17), the Podcasts and Music apps are missing basic stuff like auto add to up next, etc. You're still paying for these apps when you buy an iPhone, so having them lacking so bad behind the competition in 2024 is absolutely unacceptable. See where I'm going ? 😄
Be good if you can do an apple to s24 ultra switch video showing the steps, tips on actually doing it etc.
Things like email setup, contacts, pictures etc
I tried it as well. I struggled with the call quality on S24 ultra. Even the galaxy buds didn’t have the good call quality. I tried the Bose ultra earbuds too. I take a lot of work calls while I walk.
Have you found your perfect earbuds match with S24 ultra? Something that gives you a voice isolation like feature that comes along with iPhone and AirPods Pro paired up.
Please let me know , will love your inputs around it.
I have a hybrid setup with S24 Ul and MacBook (personal) and Windows machine (work). I ended up installing an app called ARC. It works pretty good between all my devices including my iPad. Thank you for the video. You do a great job. Cheers from Kentucky!
What does this ARC app do for you that helps you? I am trying to find this app and there are a ton of websites/companies with this name.
@@michaeljacobs3034 it's made by quadren and I can share files with either a Mac, iPad or windows machine to and from my S24U
@@michaeljacobs3034sorry I thought I answered this yesterday. It's made by quadren and I can fileshare across platforms, OS and machine. It's pretty slick. Not perfect but it works.
Love the video as always Mark.
I think your e-sim swapping issue is more about the network than the models. I switch between my Samsung and iphone al the time and never have any issues. Love it though, keep it coming. Love your content :)
For Air dropping replacement, I use send anywhere. It works a treat :)
Spen user here. I use it for art constantly. Rendering shirts, Logos, stickers, video, social media posts, video editing etc... for final print for business. Several apps help to finalize for printing and rendering. It is a massive time and paper saver. Also for 3D sculpting in Nomad. Those are some main functions that really help and motivate the creative processes for me. I totally understand the gimmick aspect if not using for such things. Photo taking, swipe gestures are not exciting. Great video and looking forward to your next video. 2 cents thrown. Cheers.
Quick Share is Android version of airdrop and try the Samsung watch 6 instead of Garmin everything sinks up automatic also magic cases for s24 Ultra and reverse charging for headphones and watch
I am glad you are enjoying your Rumspringa from Apple.
I’ve tried to switch to Samsung before but always came back to Apple. If you’ve got a watch and Mac then switching makes the watch redundant and the seem less transition from Mac to phone a nonstarter. This stuff just works well together and that’s the point. Who can honestly say they’re that far away from electricity that the battery life is a massive issue.
That said I’ll still be interested in seeing how long you can last! 👍🏻👍🏻
It won't be a long wait for you. I have seen these videos time and again and the click bait pattern is the same, one will be in the works that there is a showstopper and had to switch back. Also Apple AI is on the horizon and sure they will do a good job with that when it comes.
You will be back for iOS 18 and iPhone 16 Pro Max 😂
yeah iphone still better in many ways off course there is good thing about samsung phones no doubt about it but i just think everyday use for most regular people iphone is the best
In contrast I’ve just ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max as an upgrade from a 13 pro based on my son’s advice (IT expert) and seeing his superb photos and videos from a trip to Dubai the other week. Apple cinema mode is superb.
As a family of 6 who have watches, music, news, Apple TV as a group Apple simply works. Add in our MacBook, Mac Minis, studio displays, airpod pros, iPad Pros we like the whole system approach.
Two or three times my son tried the top android competitions, then buyers regret came in typically before 6 months, he came back to Apple. Let’s see if your system still gets upgrades in 5 yrs…
@andrewcrossley2448 s24 series gets 7 years of updates, and the s23 series gets 5 years. Something tells me your sons didn't have the top of the line android flagships. BTW I have a samsung tv, tablet, phone, washer, and I can connect to Windows computers wirelessly.
@@jordanjackson8873 not an issue. Each to their own. For us it’s the total system that is the driver. My series 5 watch is such a case where Apple gave me a replacement for £90 as I bought it from them in late 2019, still uses latest software.
For my work I use both windows and Mac. My M Macs run rings around my top windows machines with fancy graphics cards for AV and photo editing.
I guess people know which ‘tribe’ they are in. For me it’s the integrated system that matters. And my fancy Samsung TV also can cast from my phone, iPads, MacBooks etc.
Apple one shared within the adult members of my family is a major plus.
@@jordanjackson8873 yeah most people using samsung product so they should just ditch the shit iphone and move over to samsung phones
What about notifications consistently late vs the 100% reliability of the iPhone? I had an S24 for 2 weeks and I returned it as Gmail and many other apps delivered late notifications, showing up only when unlocking my phone. I ended up not trusting the S24 at all
Can you speak to what is LOST when you converted over? How about your iMessage history, your music, your photos? Anything that is a big "watch-out"? Like your videos - well done.
Thanks for the kind words! Nothing so far (don't use iMessage and everything else is cloud/streaming)!
I had a friend switch last year, he transfered literally everything down to some long lost notes and contacts.
Funny, I have rhe Fold 5 and thinking of switching to the s24u just for the integrated spen. However, i have grown to love the small form factor of the fold5.
I have that Moft Tripod stand for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is an amazing accessory.
Could you please make a detailed video of Samsung Dex? I really wonder about the advantages and limitations of the system. Thank you in advance.
Hello, will using Magsafe accessories with this phone affect the hardware and performance, since it isn't offically manufactured "Magsafe"...?
I've been going back and forth between the Pixel 8 Pro and the S24 Ultra. I have a physical SIM, so switching is easy. Only a matter of running SMS backup right after I switch my SIM. For Pixel, I use the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Bids Pro. For Samsung, I use the Watch 6 Classic and the Buds 2 Pro. For my TV, I have a Samsung TV with Chromecast. Can use the remote on either phone, both work well. It's seamless. I still cant decide which to stick with. 😂
How do you use magsafe with MOFT stand in the way.
Something like gdrive or google photos could be a short term fix for accessing files on any device. 👍
Awesome 2 weeks review. Regarding ecosystem, have you ever try the Samsung one, from Galaxy Book4 Ultra, Galaxy Tab9 and Buds2 Pro, for instance? I also think you should try Nothing Ear and Ear (a) just to check if it is a good replacement for Air Pods Pro 2. Thanks
One cool option with the spen is the camera if you are taking pictures with the family you just set it up on a tri pod or against something amd u can use the pens button as a trigger for pictures
I find the spen works well for something as simple as texting
Its not an Airdrop but what about using something like OneDrive or other cloud storage options for getting files from one device to another?
Samsung has quick share that is quite a superior way of sharing files between phones/tablets etc
A cheeky thumbs up.👍🏻
(from an iPhone user).
just here keeping an eye on the competition.
I do like the look of the S24 Ultra.
Thanks for the cheeky thumbs up!
S pen is great for signing documents and writing on photos (particularly useful for screenshot when trying to give instructions).
that color is awesome
Snapdrop is working well for me to get around the Universal Clipboard
Thanks!
Great video, Mark. But one thing I did notice was that when you switched to the Samsung the audio quality took a nose dive. I liked everything else I saw, but the audio quality was hard to listen to. When you switched phones I kind of struggled to understand you, which I’ve never done before with your videos. But overall, great post!
Nice video I really can’t change over I’m afraid I’d loose everything just gave you a sub 😊
Thanks for the sub!
With the Pixel 8 pro $250 off that seems like a better deal if I were to switch, correct?
My guy can u share the wallpaper on the home screen of the samsung the wallpaper with orange at top of screen
Very nice video
No problem at all with android phones, but my iPhone (apart from size - 15 Pro Max) does everything I need and the integration with my watch and AirPod pros and using iCloud for files across all my Macs and MacBooks are things I don't think I could leave right now.
I had the original Galaxy Note with pen and loved it, but I don't know if it now still has the same features as it did back then. It seemed a revelation back then, ten years ago, and was genuinely useful.
I also used to be an iphone user until I tried my first Note device and I haven't looked back. I use the Spen daily to jut down notes and reminders, measurements and statistics for work; Easily organize them in the notes app. Sign PDF docs, use smart select to copy text from any picture taken or image, just no name a few things. Essential for me.
I use localsend for transferring files, images and supports copying text too.
Thanks!
i think the honesty of the s24u camera while recording this video is phenomenal, whereas apple would just try to glorify everything.
pairdrop works great
The best use case for the S Pen is to use it for photo editing in Lightroom, signing documents on the go, and just to note down a quick thing.
But, editing photos with the S Pen is the best use-case for it.
Never been a Stylus guy so my question is..... How much of a drop of do you think there is from the S24 Ultra to the S24+ taking into account the price saving as well?
Hey Mark! First time here 👋
Regarding the copy/paste to other devices (android/ or samsung) there are apps and samsung has its own well build in the eco system its called Quick share and from my opinnion its does everything what airDrop does and actually quite quicker, Its just THAT fast
You can use quick share pushing down the panel options at the upper right side and you will find it there, it can also copy/ paste to other devices really
Yep, but it can't go tofrom MacOS and Android, which I think is what he meant about replacing Airdrop. I think he's still using a Macbook. So LocalSend is the best option IMO.
@@MikeStevens aww yes i feel that, but as usual apple makes that on porpuse, sry for english, but i mean... it would be a lot more compatible cross devices but apple just dont want to make it a reslity
S pen is good😃

If you go back to the Galaxy watch 6 classic, you can start your workout on the watch and now it syncs with your phone seamlessly just like the Apple Watch does which is great because for the longest time. It did not do that but now it does.

Quickshare is the alternative option to AirDrop
Hi, Mark. Is that quick burst of music on your intro from New Order? Cheers, Dave.
Nope - it's mine!
@@MarkEllisReviewsCool 👍
In the uk most people use what’s app so iMessage isn’t really a thing. I’ve a few apple products phone iPad watch and AirPods. If I could afford to replace all I wouldn’t mind something else but I couldn’t replace all at the one time so I’ve always just stuck.
Navigating the UI with the S Pen is its main purpose, i hate using my fingers to navigate
Same here!
An interesting watch and I am an apple fanboy. however I like your channel this much and this video is actually interesting to me. Be nice to know what happens over the next month. Good job buddy.
My S24 Ultra is on the way, in part due to your previous review. As to the pen, I think the remote shutter button will be a big help. I often find myself trying to take a photo with one hand, holding the phone high, or out while trying to tap the shutter release with a free finger and not drop the phone. The other hand/arm being used to stabilize myself or prevent falling on my face. Being able to get the phone in position for a photo and being able to release the shutter with the other hand will be a boon. I also see an overall increase in photo creativity with a remote release. As to using it as a pen, it will probably get as much use as the pen on my iPad. That only gets used to add info to a photo.
Bird feeder photos could be fun.
Just shout SHOOT when you want to make a picture, than it will make one.
I’m currently trying to make the switch. I have both in my hands right now. I love everything about the ultra except Battery life and the camera indoor. I feel that I could be much better if Samsung takes it seriously. I will end up selling one of them but I’m not sure which one.
I'm thinking of upgrading my Note10 plus to an iphone 15PM/ 16PM. Want to try Apple for a bit as I need a better ecosystem with integration that works also want better customer service when I need it.
I do agree with the use of thr Apple TV app on iPhone. Smart Things on Samsung, when syncing/using with a Samsung TV or Smart Monitor, is great until you need to use a keyboard 😅
Great video as always!
Fantastic update Mark! Are you going to do a long form piece on Medium? It is good to explore alternative platforms and see what other companies are up to, but having tried various others there is nothing out there which provides a significant leap over iOS and the iPhones. I reckon it is just down to your personal preferences. If you like Samsung, then that’s for you. I know folks like to be tribal and loyal, but hey-ho we are human.
You’ve not mentioned the Apple Vision Pro since you bought it. I take it you’re not using it much?
No use in creating content about it while the interest is so low, search-wise. I've written about it a lot, though - check out my website. Using it most days!
for the Sennheiser TW4, I had them too, I used them for a couple days with my 14PM, however its just give a stereo experience, which is good, but with the Airpods Pro 2 with Spatial Audio is next level experience plus the extra functions give you a next gen feeling and overall more comfortable, I didnt really like how big is the TW4.
this review feels like a paid review...
I’ve seen the iPhone more than the Galaxy in this video 😂
I made that switch ten years ago, my entire ecosystem, including the Samsung watch nowadays, obviously.
samsung DEX feature on that phone is amazing. A very good desktop experience.
Great videos mate. I hope the switch works out for you. But my 2 cents worth is I’ve spent the last 15 years or so switching from Apple to Samsung. Always for the same reason: bored of Apple not innovating so switch to Samsung. Then switching back to Apple as Samsung phones just seem to have too many quality issues and end up not doing what you hoped they would. Always seem great at first then the issues show up after a few months. I’m now with a 15 pro max after my fold 4 hinge packed up after 12 months. I’m hoping the next iOS fixes Siri finally. Your ultra watch videos finalised the switch back for me as fed up of the galaxy watch being so laggy. Keep up the great videos mate I’m from the same neck of the woods but now enjoy your reviews from Australia.
Mark, is your iPhone a US version. Why has it got a e-sim.
UK version. I chose the eSim option.
Sendanywhere app solves transferring files "issue" perfectly
S pen is amazing. Once you get used to it, you would not want phone without S pen. If you chat a lot in whats app or messanger , it is easy to cut any photo or website and share. Also copying text from image, pinning One Time password image so that you could type without going back to other screen etc.
Great to see a loyal iPhone user give android/Samsung a go. I love and own an Apple Macbook pro but prefer to use Samsung tablets and phones for one raason - Customisation. Once you truly understand how to use Androids customisation features to your advantage by making full use of apps like Samsungs Goodlock and Nova Launcher, it makes iPhones seem like a bit of a joke.
Spen is an excellent tool for translating words or entire sentences in a text. All you have to do is hold him to his word. This is a great tool for people learning a foreign language.
For the past month I’ve been using the S24 (SD Version) along side with my iPhone 15 Pro Max for a month (as a long time Apple user). Aside from the customisation, I grew to appreciate both platforms for their pros and cons. iOS UI smoothness is really still unmatched by any android phone. It’s not the smoothness within the app, iOS is way smoother transitioning between apps and the UI transitions are so robust, you rarely find any flaws. For the Samsung, aside from it being more customisable, I find that it is way more productive (ability to access the clipboard, DEX Mode, etc.). Also it allows apps to really run in the background (ie. Even for the built in WiFi sharing, in iOS it would turn off in the background after a while to conserve battery). As for the 120hz refresh rate, Samsung gives the full refresh rate and on the iPhone, it feels like it’s in 80hz to 90hz most of the time (again probably to conserve battery life). Anyways, my point is my experience enables me to appreciate both platforms even more. I think I would keep using both (although it would require me to carry 2 phones around)
Mark looks like Erik Ten Hag or is it just to me
Neardrop is,one sided to mac only, but it works

I'm thinking of upgrading my Note10 plus to an iphone 15PM. How was the transition from Android to Iphone? I'm also debating if I I should switch to iphone 🤔
PS If you want to have even more fun with your S24 Ultra - see how it seamlessly integrates with a Chromebook!! Think you'll be really really shocked. I have a £500 OLED touchscreen Lenovo Chromebook which runs Android Apps, has virtual desktops, can run Linux. It's stunning for what most people use their laptops for most of the time!
Hi Mark, an airdrop solution that I use after also switching to an android from iphone is send-anywhere. Easy to connect too, hope this helps!
The best thing the SPen can do is to take notes, jot your ideas, and draw your creative designs all without unlocking the phone. It is just awesome. Saves me so much time without losing the thought that crossed my mind. Has made me capture more ideas and transfer it to final art designs.
Another converted, whoot!!!🎉
Fir the first time in my life I switched to IOS on 15 Pro Max... ohhhhh how I miss my Samsung, can't wait till the lease is over and to get back to Android... Only thing I liked about the iphone most is the FaceID but I can really leave without it...
I find the face id excellent on the S24U, better than the fingerprint.
The family situation is the roadblock for me. I’ve become dependent on Apple Cash. My son, who is in the 6th grade asks me for money every day. It’s so convenient because it works with his schools vending machines.
I use s pen to copy texts a lot. U can't copy for example Instagram captions but s pen people can
You can sign documents. Edit photos. Draw thin lines. Sometimes ass-pen very useful. When you don't need it - you don't have to use it. But when it necessary - this thing unbeatable.
I bought s24 ultra out right 7 years of updating no worries for me stick in i i ios for 12 months hated it
I have both phones I prefer iOS more clean & quick android just looks not on the level gimmicky.
If you like edit your photos on mobile phone using Lightroom mobile then it will be much much easier using s-pen for Lightroom sliders rather using your finger, plus your phone screen will stay clean without fingerprints
Possible air drop replacement. Instal Solid explorer and setup FTP with laptop. Done
Oof - feels like a bit of a sledgehammer to get FTP involved ;)
@@MarkEllisReviews totally understand. Even the setup may be a bit of a challenge. But once done, you can at least access all files in the pc from the smartphone and paste the files directly from the phone (provided they are on the same network). Not sure if it works the other way around.
Another alternative is to have an HD connected to the wifi router, any device connected to that network is able to access write/read :)
To be honest, i still use dropbox after all these years so exchange of small files is no issue for me, anything big i don't trust anything but cable.
Cheers!
Hey Mark, can you go over what it’s like having the Samsung while owning a Mac? Thank you!
Never switching
I have had note 3 , note 4. And yes S-Pen you end up not using that often. Unless if you are an artist. However everyone who are reviewing S24ultra saying that how nice and useful S-pen is, you’re the first person when says it is not useful. 😊
Green bubbles don't matter on Android because we can't see them anyway haha 😂
One thing that is really annoying about the camera on the s24 ultra (not the camera per se, but the end result of it because of the Ai thing): the moment you take the picture, it looks great. A few seconds later it is processed by the AI and often makes the photo look like trash. Blurry and oversaturated colors just appear out of nowhere. And I disabled all the auto enhance features in the config, but it still does that. I wish there was a alway to completely disable auto enhance. This sux
The thing about the S Pen is that you can use it as much or as little as you like. It's just another option that other manufacturers don't give you
I am ALWAYS looking to switch from Apple . I have now bought an s24 ultra and I have a Sony 1v which will be returned to my phone provider under the returns policy
I’m going to try to stick to the Samsung … don’t let me down Mark… stick with it … don’t weaken and go back to the locked system that has regular updates , great software support , works seamlessly.. but is as boring as hell! 😂
Try local send to replace airdrop
I got an iPhone 13 Pro Max because my best friend wanted me to get one so I did. Told her I’m switching carriers and phones. She sent me a GIF of means girls saying “you can’t sit with us” it’s a risk I’m willing to take 😎
