Growing up on the wet, west coast of Canada, rain has always been a familiar companion. As such I have found that the cosiest sewing days, are the days when it rains. The gentle, soothing sound of rain on the window mixed with the hum of a sewing machine is one of my favourite things.
I hope you enjoy this experience, and I would love to know if you are a lover of rain or prefer the sun?
Since there are many, many tutorials for chemises I decided to try something new with this video.

Looks just like what my grandma wore. Hers was made of heavy handwoven hemp and very stiff and scratchy, but same cut. Very lovely video and I love a rainy day to read. Thanks.

In response to your question: In general I like sunny daysđ, I love to be outside with a bit of a breeze and some sun and shade and see all the beautiful things around me. On days like today though, where it has been hot for 3 days straight with a burning sun, rain is really greatđ. Awesomely cooling and refreshing!

Bit cooler and makes the air wet like where I grew up. The additional shots of the apples and bleeding hearts were also lovely pops of color
