I returned in July (New York City) I stayed 6months in my village isunjaba imo state I love every moment, I built my four bedroom duplex from scratch to finish my self, spent lesser than my cousin who was sending money to his family to build his own, and it's not completed up till today. Live simple and underground no one would know you even have millions to your name 🤣😂😂 I even worked as a labourer at my own building. To build is extremely expensive but way cheaper if you're on ground your self. Sorry y'all it's off topic 😂😂😂
Flo chinyere thanks you inspired me way before I traveled for my building project, I watched all your videos on building. Thanks a lot nwanyi Oma 🙏 . Sinking a borehole and landscaping and screeding/painting is what is left.
Well done Flo. I'm currently building from diaspora as well and wish i had 6 months to spare, as I've spent way more than the budgeted amount i anticipated for the stage of the building at the moment. Unfortunately, i have no option than to use the "family-help" approach as my work abroad does not provide me with the option of taking an extended leave. I'll keep pushing on and complete this one, but I've vowed to be on ground for my next building project, and i don't care it it takes me much longer time to complete.
It's not off point. It's an eye opener for those that thinks coming home to carry out their Civic responsibility is a taboo. Come simply! Live simply and be prayerful. The Devil will remain asleep until you finish your work and go back to base safely.
In Northern Uganda, we used say prayers on the bus before leaving, I don't know now, haven't been home in a while. The road trip is amazing, the greenery, cities and music are just amazing. Thank you Flo.
Flo you make me feel free when I visit cos the stories from home makes one to be fearful of moving around. You move freely and happily anytime you are home. I thought that one cannot travel by road any more. I am very happy to watch your movement at home.
Nothing beats real life experience. Nigerians abroad fear home so much but millions of humans live there. Things are happening but not like projected on social media.

Aunty Flo!!!! I sat down and watched this video with my daughter and found it to be a very useful topic for conversation about our country. Thank you so much. Also, it was lovely listening to our amazing song, Savannah 🤎🤎🤎
Even before you showed Ijebu Ode on your screen, I already knew when you guys arrived Ijebu Ode. I had plied Lagos -Eastern route for countless times. I thank God for life. That Benin-bypass is not safe. A lot of things happen at that bypass especially in late evenings. Wonderful video.
