I was recording a guest spot on another podcast at 10 pm Saturday, and when I came back into the room, my wife and my kid were 1.5 episodes into this. I watched the next 1.5 episodes with them, and thought it was pretty fun. I had to wake up early, so I went to bed, but every 30 minutes or so, they woke me up laughing or excitedly talking about something. Turns out they stayed up til four binging the whole thing. My kid (he's about to turn 12) had never binged a show before, so this was his first one. He was really excited about it (late) the next day (after he finally woke up).
The reason it's called "Sweet Tooth" is because it's an adaption of a graphic novel of the same name by Jeff Lemiere. The graphic novel series is a lot darker than the show. Interestingly enough the pilot of the series was actually filmed in 2019 before the real world pandemic, but the rest of the show was filmed in the fall of 2020 in New Zealand
