You can just buy a whole new screen but it's way more expensive

This method is thorough yet depressingly strenuous. I like it but it's time consuming like you mentioned.
Plus, if not done precisely, you'll still risk having bubbles/bleeding which wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing overtime.
It would make more sense to change the digitizer but that's expensive.

Hello. what is the percentage of marriage for s20? damage to the polarizer while cutting?
I pasted it ok, but there are small bubbles in the corners. I decided to redo it. But after re-cutting, there are spots on the display
They should have the l.c.d then s digitizer and then glass on top so if glass breaks people can use there cells if they break. Older cells where really easy to fix the digitizer was not glued to l.c.d. there has to be a better way to make these cell phone displays where it's not so hard to fix and not to easy to break. You make it look easy.📱👍👍🏽

So far or 70 S8 practicing lcd-3 have managed to separate the bottle with a cord without error! Would you recommend buying the freezer instead or give it a try? Maybe pay for a course? Does it make sense to take a course with a translation machine?Thank you for your answer!
Hi Bro. We dont recommend freezer on newer devices. S8/S8+ you can freeze no problem newer ones very risky. If you need help I can help video train.

2 guys(warranty repair team) did this in my backyard in a ford focus 2 weeks after I had this phone. Took about 40 minutes.
Doubt that they just swapped out your cracked working screen with a service pack 😆😆
@@MrPhoneDoctor hard to fake it when I stood outside the car while the swapped it out. But 🤷♂️. I did the camera glass myself in about 10 minutes.

I got a question for you , my samsung ultra 5g got some scratches on the screen while it was fall down in the street but actually screen didn't broken, how to remove the scratches or there is possibility to just replace the upper layer of the screen ?
Polish the screen or just put a uv screen protector to cover the scratches
I tried that with a broken display (some bleeding, heavy burn in and touch not working properly). I expected to damage it, yet still went through with it, since it was a broken phone anyway and I didn't need it anymore. For learning purposes you could say, since I like fixing stuff myself. When it came to cutting tho, I somehow managed to cut through the display on the edges. I got the wire in, and began to slowly cut, just like you did in the video. But at some point on the curved edges, the wire went through the display. The display didn't survive that, obviously. Do you maybe know what exactly causes this? I didn't use a lot of force. The wire I used is 0,08mm thick.
Edit: I remember I pulled slightly down on the edges. I think this might have caused it, but I'm not sure.
.04 or less recommended. Never pull down on the edges. Feed line opposite direction

Omg... This is alot of work. I just bought a big kit with everything I thought I needed. Just not the heating thingy, solution, plastic sheet etc... What even is all those things. And how on earth am I going to do this myself?
Don’t waste your time, buy another phone. That’s what I did.
This repair is a joke to show you how much work goes into it for no reason.
Buy a durable case, be careful, and avoid repairs. It’s not worth it when it comes to the screen.

Damn I was told you can't replace the glass.. I had no bleeds or anything, touch working just fine.. I should of done more research and found a shop that knew what it was doing..

So if the Glass is cracked across the screen is there a possibility the digitizer is fine under the glass itself? Since the glass crack goes across the screen?

I would still re-do a new read with a new glass. Same applies when you add a screen protector.

The best way is to replace the whole lcd screen to avoid wasting time and possible breaking LCD anyway. So that is not feasible for most repair person to do to my experience.
Where's can I find the whole screen replacement at the best price. Searching online I'm finding a huge variance in the price and want to avoid counterfeit. Thanks

I have owned this phone for a few years now with no screen cracks today it was super windy and I was at the grocery store and a shopping cart was blowing across parking lot and almost hit someone's car I raced after it and WOOSH slam it hit the ground even with a otterbox on and it cracked slightly

You're showing people how to repair something and then knocking any confidence they may have gained from the video, and literally telling people it's something they can't do themselves! Exactly what i thought. Why make a video showing people how to replace their broken screen but then say not to do it and to take it to a professional.
CZcams is not a DIY dedicated tutorial site. I'm sure you've seen videos on wood turning, or some industrial machine operation or even about prostitution without the intent of trying it at home. He is showing you a full process of how to do something while naturally recommending that it is something best suited for a experienced person. The recommendation makes sense and I for one am also happy of either knowing what is done to my phone when I someone repairs it, or attempting it myself at my own risk. Don't see the need to freak out cause he throws a warning mid video....
