Hi Toby, I just found your amazing channel through a video on how to make your personal assets invisible. I have a question: What if my rental properties are already under an LLC and a living trust in California? Would you recommend transferring them to a Wyoming LLC in order to make them invisible? Do I have to file taxes in Wyoming if I own a Wyoming LLC? Thank you in advance for your time.

HELP! I don’t want my personal income to increase due to my side job consulting thru my LLC. I have a sole ownership LLC (business consulting) but I don't take a salary nor do I want the LLC's income to count as my own income. I have taken a reimbursement for traveling expenses. That said, when it comes to tax filing can I separate the LLC income as a separate filing entity? (The income of the LLC is going right into savings with NO compensation to the single owner AND no salaries to be paid.)
My understanding is that that would be qualified as a pass-through hence it goes straight with your personal income. Otherwise, everybody would have an LLC and be on 1099 with everybody.
@@rashakor doesn’t make sense to call every single owner LLCa disregarded entity especially if you do not want to disregard it but actually treat it as a separate entity. The IRS shouldn’t penalize individual owners cuz they don’t have partners in their LLc. Doesn’t make sense
@@mistereearly1141 I know. I don't disagree with you. But remember that the savings you referred to are not yours they are the company's (you may pay your future salary with it, but you still will have to pay Uncle Sam).
Hi Toby! Love you content! I Just moved to escorw on a rental property in California and I would like to set up an LLC to own the title. I'm hesitant to set up the LLC in California due to personal liability issues - any issues with setting up the LLC in Wyoming and registering to do business in California as a foreign LLC? Or better to set up directly in the state in which I'm primarily doing biz (cali, in this case). Thank you for putting out all this amazing content!
