This Ending Was so Perfect For Liv Getting All of Those Kids to Admit That They’re Also Victims For Different Reasons,This Has to be my Favorite SVU Ending to Date
Feel like they should do this at all the schools
Agree
They did it at mine (I graduated high school in 2015) but unfortunately students are not as forthcoming in real life.
They did it at mine but we didn’t close our eyes
Argee
Definitely 👏
This was one of the most powerful things I've ever witnessed on TV and it has touched me, being a victim of bullying and harassment. This kind of thing doesn't change, whether you are 15 or 50. No one should be made to feel like the girl in this felt, and sadly people should know that, yes, words can hurt. It's very easy to say sticks and stones, and while it may be true, it's also true that we are all human, we all have thoughts and feelings. We all don't have to get along, but we could stand to be a little more kind, more understanding. Because it is true. We are all in this together.
Our youngest daughter is named after the character, “Olivia” on SVU. This episode was absolutely, THE most powerful episode for me and this scene was spot on. #SVUFan
That's pretty creepy
savagedragon79 i mean how tho? people name their kids after everything
I think it’s amazing because the character herself is a powerful women and the actor her self is totally awesome
Which season and episode is this
@@d.i.y.carley8985 Mariska Hargitay has donated her time to a lot of the causes that this show frequently addresses. Mainly getting rape kits processed faster than they are, and standing up for victims of sexual assault.
“ You’re not alone “ it made me cry
I haven't even seen the episode yet, but holy f*** this touched my heart and definitely hit some personal nerves.
omg spot me!! I'm in the camo shirt
Oh my God 😭😭😭😭 this definitely should justify why Law and Order: SVU is the best series ever! This episode was so powerful, and it made me realize that it’s ok to stand up for yourself and others, and to be strong in a bad situation.
Props to SVU 💕💕💕
Which season and episode is this
This is another reason why Mariska is my role model & hero! She’s so beautiful and she inspires me and helped me get through things in life!
True 👍 agree 😊. 😘
She is extraordinary 👏👏she really is a hero
Madison Pettis' character (the bully) and the other bully guy actually surprised me. Some bullies just think they're "joking" but it's time they learn the truth. Making others feel uncool doesn't make you any more popular or loved by your peers. Good episode.
My ex always thinks of it as just a joke until one is said to him then he flips out!
Huh? Madison Pettis was not the bully.
This Is Needed In ALL SCHOOLS!!
She's a survivor and a fighter and a hero
I hope everyone who is still seated recognizes how fortunate they are.
That scenes makes me wish everyone who need help get someone like Olivia in their lives. This scene touched me so much and I didn't see the episode yet... ❤️ I was a victim of bullying too, and I knew a little of street harassment. I found the help I needed. I deeply hope and hardly wish everyone gets that chance to be helped. ❤️
This episode hit me. Benson did a great job talking to the kids and NBC did a AMAZING job in making this episode; it was VERY educational and informative. We need more people like Olivia Benson in our lives! This episode should be played in all high schools, colleges and even universities. Olivia Benson said it straight up; We're all in this together. We all have the power to change the way we think, what we say to people and we all have the power to be more compassionate, be more accepting and be more loyal to people. Good job, guys!
I was in this scene at 1:54 #lifeofabackgroundactor lol
That must’ve been amazing! Did you get a chance to meet Mariska?
That's heaps cool!
How did you get the role?
Best svu ending
One of the best episodes of Law and Order! Bullying, in all its forms, is a practice that destroys who receives and who judges, especially with social networks, that have caused it to increase in 1000x the proportion of these attacks. Congratulations Law and Order for showing our reality and the suffering of so many young people!
The bullies are the ones that deserve to suffer. They deserve to fear. They deserve to feel shame. They deserve to be destroyed from within.
@@foolslayer9416 depending on the person but everyone should have a second chance and open mind if not then I agree with you some people are just evil that is it
@@preciousotoakhia9789 I respect that, and I respect the idea of redemption. But like Tolerance, Redemption can be misplaced and curdle into ignorance.
@@foolslayer9416 you will always have that feeling for redemption if it does not work then yes we should give them frank castle treatment
This is so sad. It should be done in every school, everything should be done to help them out.
thank you. this was so needed now. to me and to everyone
omg spot me!! I'm in the camo shirt
If there is a final episode of SVU, that would be a great send-off for the show.
No words can describe how immensely amazing & important this scene is! This whole episode should be shown to all high school kids! I used to think they were the worst, but after watching this scene, I realized that there’s so much more to them then the stupid decisions that they make!
I'm in love with this show. I love you Olivia!
omg spot me!! I'm in the camo shirt
Same here 😊.
It's very good to have TV shows like Law & Oder like Chicago PD, Like New Amsterdam and many more it teaches you a lot in real life, I truly believe it can help and inspire someone out there .
Season 19, Episode 4 - No Good Reason
Michelle Louis thank you
Thank you, Michelle Louis!
This scene was amazing ❤❤❤ just look at the flowers girl and you'll be fine!! 😂
lol I was wondering if anyone knows she looked at the flowers :)
florence cipher I was wondering why she looked so familiar lol
I guess Olivia would have to look deeper into her family history too: cough~domestic-sibling-homicide~cough.
Just finished this episode on my usual svu binge. This is one of my favs and I'm tearing.😥 Stood up for multiple reason.❤ Bless all survivors. 🙏
Me too. Been watching this after I watched a video on TikTok. Started from season 1. I just watched this, and I was in tears at this. It really hits you where it hurts. I utterly love this show.
As nice as this is, the sad truth is this would never happen. If this happened at my old school one of 2 things would happen. Either no one would participate or the ones who did would get laughed at for taking part or it would be used against them. It’s sad, but it’s true
I kinda wish a guy had stood up when she asked about sexual assault. it happens way more often than we know because guys wont admit they are vulnerable too
I wish I had someone like Olivia in my corner. This episode brings Full Truth.
I love this episode so much words cannot explain. I felt as though the girls who stood up and told their story were talking directly to me as I went through this same exact thing and my family didn’t believe me or support me. I look up to Olivia Benson and plan to name my baby girl Olivia. She is such a role model and I wish every young girl had an “Olivia” 🌸💕
I saw this episode earlier and was close to tears at the scenes of the kids talking
Love and admire Mariska Hargitay personally and professionally . The classiest of ladies
True 👍 agree.
Thanks for sharing the details, this was really needed for me and for others to look at. It will help others
This episode should win an EMMY award.
Your thoughts here............
This is the real truth...😭😭😭 I didn't see this episode yet but I think it's really emotional....😭😭😳
I wish people would understand why a lot of survivors don’t say anything at the start it’s because we either don’t realize what happened happened and it’s embarrassing to bring it up
Such a powerful scene
One of my favourite scenes of law and order svu
I participated in this exercise while viewing it just now on my iPad. Thank you so much, Mariska.
I did this just now as I watched the clip. Very cathartic not only to admit to being a victim but to also know that I am not alone. Yup, thank you Mariska (and writers SVU)...............
I think everyone have to see this...
I know its scripted but this episode right here is the most powerful and exactly true to life. Amazing Job the Writers and Directors did with this very segment!!!!!! I commend you
To think she started as a 12 year old girl on twd. Lizzie you go girl.
This is one of the most powerful scenes I’ve seen on television. By far. Very true and honest
I was molested at a friend's house in the 6th grade I was 12 years old my attacker was 16 and what was worse than what happened was that kids blamed me. The girl who was supposed to be my friend lied and told the cops I wanted it. They didn't believe her. The detectives who helped me didnt blame me they were angry it happened. The girls mom let it happen she laughed and thought it was hilarious what was happening to me. The other kids that knew the girl said I ruined their and his life. I attempted suicide and tried running away but my mother prayed to God and 8 had a teak of people who helped me get through it now I'm 28 and getting married next month to a wonderful and loving man
I was molested as a child, by a family member, and it was watching this show that finally got me to tell someone about it at age 46. I buried it, hid it and tried to pretend it didn't happen for nearly 40 years, but I am just now beginning to come to terms with it.
@@stephaniebaker1542 I'm sorry that happened to u. People alre always wanting to question why people wait for so long to come forward but what they don't understand is the fear is what keeps you silent. But once u speak out u feel so much better. We are all in this together r
This is exactly what both UMass Amherst students and employees need since they suck at handling cases which keeps getting them with lawsuits.
Powerful!
I loved this scene and the exercise that made them see how they were not the only ones without shaming them for doing it to others. ALL schools should do this. If they won't protect the kids or keep parents informed nowadays, they should have an assembly discussing bullying. Even the bully stood up seeing how many students were affected by it.
I can’t close my eyes either...this is a great exercise that should consider using in colleges & high schools. Maybe even middle school!
this moment reminds me of that Lifetime movie, i keep watching over and over again, called "Sexting in Suburbia". 😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊☮☮☮
THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS WITH KATHLEEN STABLER back when she asked Liv to speak at her college
They should do this in school.
Amazing
I’m watching this episode on usa right now
i was apart of this acting '
i was in the audience
Crying Again!
Yes this was .... cool ☺😎
Still wonder if they read the comments ...they probably don't

This is great exercise
We know what's right and what's wrong, but we either choose not to care or ignore it
Oliva benson did a good job
Sometimes sorry can never be enough for the hurt you have felt... the person saying it does not know on which level or above which wound they hurt you... wounds do heal, but cutting over the scar needs surgery to heal... not easy...
I used to tell people this: cut on a skin hurts, but the same cut on a scar that's struggled hard to heal before does hurt... it is true.. but worse, it does not heal easily... like betrayal and the rest in this episode...
That is why doctors do not cut open the scar region of any healed wound....
Sometimes sorry is too late to mend the bond that is broken.... staying away from such people may help heal the person... SORRY to me is definitely an excuse or lip service especially if people had done things knowingly... it cuts deeper than any knife to your heart...
And sometimes when your heart is filled with nothing but scars, the whole heart and nerves go numb... you no longer have any feelings for anyone... wounded people become loners, no emotional attachments; not for the fear of getting hurt, but because of lack of emotions all together... they know that one more hurt or cut they would bleed to death... it's called self defense... psychology calls it depression or fear.. to me that is not right.. loneliness gives you a better environment to heal than with those who impose their thoughts and behaviors on you through manipulations of your brain...
Hey look it's the 'just look at the flowers' girl
Which episode and season?
I love Olivia Benson she is so beautiful 💜💜💜💜💜💜
What episode is that?
Feliz cumpleaños mariska hargitay
My school did this but instead of sexual assault and bullying we did death and depression. Still sucked though.
It would be very very good to teach kids in schools about the law and how to use them handle them self out there in the while world .
Yup, I don't feel bad for her, she should still look at the flowers.
What episode and season is this ?
Season 19, episode 4, currently free on Amazon prime video
What... hold up, off topic. But is the girl at the end Peyton from game plan?
Haylee Raina That’s her
Someone should show this to Melania.
LOLEST! I was discussing her with my husband the other day and saying how sorry I feel for her on some levels. She does the passive aggressive thing very well but we all know being married to that guy is probably one of her worst decisions. Then we discussed him as well.........from what we know his father wasn't very nice to him and it shows in his 70's. He is a bully because he was a victim of bullying and everyone is the enemy because he sincerely can't trust anyone, he is aware we all laugh at him etc. It can't be easy. Poor Baron is just in training to be a violent psycho being brought up by two victims and his brothers and sisters also have major issues.....he's never going to be a normal adult.......to much baggage and worse is that it is all on display for the world to mock and laugh at.
Queria ver a tradução 🥺

This is not real life. would never happen in my school.
👑🔥👏🏾🖤💜🧡❤✌🏾
It's about being more respectful and responsible. Yes compassion is important.. but compassion can be abused aswell. Being seen as an easy target. It's about accepting the boundaries of others and not taking them so personally. That is being more accepting. Yet we are often told we have to include everyone. That's just not realistic in everyday life. People don't always get along. People don't always want to associate with others for their own reasons. Understanding there at different people in the community is a positive thing. Deciding who we allow into our lives and personal space should never be forced. Reality is we all get rejected at some point in life. It's having the ability to accept that and be at peace with that. If people are causing continual disturbance in my life.. why do I HAVE to accept that? There are people that there will be minor conflicts with that can be worked through .. but there are others where we will never ever see eye to eye. So why would I want to invite that unnecessary stress into my life?
Wow, talk about missing the point entirely. No one is asking you to be friends or even acquaintances with people who have "pushed your boundaries" or who don't meet your standards., but to not make their life even harder, by bullying and ostracizing
Where the hell was THIS at least 20 years ago?!
Spoiler:
A 15 year old blogger has a great life with her parents and friends. She films a blog about her daily life. She goes to a house party with 5 of her friends one night and the next day she disappears. Her parents call SVU after finding a video on her computer of her describing vaguely what happened to her and showing a photo that was taken of her in her underwear with hurtful words written all over her body. The photo was sent to everyone is school which caused her to receive tons of cyber bullying that leads to her running away.
The detectives eventually find her with an internet friend who tells them she has been raped. As the story progresses the detectives learn that the only people who could have done it were three of her male friends. They all pretend not to know what happened but eventually one boy admits to writing on her and taking and distributing the photos.
But the big reveal is that the boy who raped her was the one she saw as a brother. He was in love with her and after they all smoked weed together he took her in to a different room and tried to kiss her. She rejected him but as she was incapacitated he proceeded to rape her.
Eventually he sees the error of his ways and agrees to plead guilty and confess to spare Mandy from testifying. Later Mandy and Benson hold an assembly at her school to discuss cyber bullying and assault.
