  • Με τον cpt Ισίδωρο Λιγνό στα χειριστήρια του ΑΔΑΜΑΝΤΙΟΣ ΚΟΡΑΗΣ και εχθρό την αδιαφορία των διοικούντων αυτής τη χώρας, ο καιρός κάνει τα παιχνίδια του στην Σίκινο. Σε ένα βίντεο που λήφθηκε την Κυριακή 7 Απριλίου 2013, φαίνεται για ακόμα μία φορά σε ποιο σημείο έχει φτάσει η αδιαφορία του κράτους.

      Have you ever tried watching paint drying. ?...if they had taken any longer the med would have evaporated. !!!!... British captains use engines and thrusters....Greek cabin boys use winches. ...very amateur , They need to go back to school. 🤡

      @@AA-69 I wonder how old the footage is? It looks to me like he maybe has bow thrusters,, I think they did that with twin screws and winches. Better than I could do it. Then again,, I am a rag bagger,, single under powered screw with feathering blades. (Meaning reverse is not a certain thing. You use prop walk to help swing the turn.) You are absolutely correct,, thrusters fore and aft would make that a lot easier.

    • @dinos9607
      @dinos9607 Před 3 lety +5

      Greek captains shouldn't have to have to try that but they have to work under such conditions with such infrastructure. This is what the video description says in its Greek part, above. Now mind you, the Aegean Sea is very tricky. It is not so much the size of waves but rather the unpredictable currents that do the harm. Experienced sailors from all over the world and most notably from Greece itself have been lost for underestimating what they could think of as a mundane "wavy sea"'.

      It was more action packed in the old days Snaefell Tynwald Ben-my-Chree. But even 30 years ago, there were adventures to be had (tempting to say riding the Manx Maid), turning in the harbour before the new breakwater was built watching the wooden plank decks heel over at 30’ to the green water over the big rectangular windows at the bottom of the slope, big stacks of plates smashing, toast and butter, cup of tea. Climbing up the ladders inside the funnel and pushing up the trap door. Great days.

    Whatever it is, such an amazing skill.
    Because I believe the Captain did realize, if anything went wrong, he'd be the one who took the responsible. But again, what can he do about it?
    Hats off, capt.
